Our new series, “Conquest,” opens up the book of Joshua in a powerful way. We get a behind-the-scenes look at how the Lord takes a moment to encourage Joshua in his new role as the leader of Israel right as he is about to take his first steps. Although Joshua had already been set apart as the new leader of the children of Israel, we see God still needs to exhort him to be strong and realize that the same encouragement is necessary for all of us today, in every walk of life.

Loved this sermon, Daniel. I am pastoring a church that needs to hear to be strong and courageous because I am a new pastor, first church, and I feel He has lead me here for very specific reasons which have not been disclosed to me yet. But strong and courageous is what I need to be, and what they need to hear as we navigate our way in this little rural church. I feel God saying something needs to change, but what has not been disclosed yet. He is moving though.
