EveryHome August 2024 Disconnections Webinar with K4ED

The Metropolitan Housing Coalition's EveryHome program hosted a "Utility Disconnection Protections" webinar on Tuesday, August 27th featuring guest speaker, Kentuckians for Energy Democracy. At this webinar, we learned about (1) health risks associated with energy insecurity, (2) House Bill 180 from the 2024 legislative session, and (3) the benefits of disconnection protections for renters and landlords.
