@@grimpeursdusud1533 Yes possibly. Little Egrets have a black beak and golden yellow legs and Great White Egrets are slightly larger with a long neck and yellow beak.
@@suebarnett-naturegazing They were in a tree on the mainland near the Albanian border. Didn't stay long as I wanted to do a bay stop on our yacht but the one we motored to was by a fish farm so was full of murk. Eventually got some wind in our sails down the East coast of Corfu and stopped at a small island near the inlet to Plataria where I had a good snorkel with loads of fish before an exhillarating sail back to port for our last night! can't wait to go back.
@@suebarnett-naturegazing I have a couple of very good cameras but don't usually get them out whilst sailing for obvious reasons. One day we were passed by The Black Pearl (not the Pirates of the Caribbean one), a huge superyacht with 3 masts which apparently is so efficient it can cross the Atlantic on 15 litres of Diesel! luckily someone else on out flotilla captured a photo of us under its shadow.
@@grimpeursdusud1533 😮 Some of those yachts are huge! Will see if there are any photos online! You can waterproof GoPros which might be interesting to use when you are sailing. You could dangle one underwater to get photos of fish!
Saw what looked like smaller storks in Greece but all white could they be Egrets?

@@grimpeursdusud1533 You lucky thing! That sounds wonderful! ❤️ Could be either Little Egrets or Cattle Egrets I guess. You need to buy a camera! 😄
