Had a complexity-esque dynasty run with TSM during the early days of Apex and recently has hit top form once again. Basically he was the best player on the most dominant team, the CEO.

A lot of the amazing competitive moments require the context and build up from the match to really appreciate. Most of the apex you guys have reacted to so far has been players just dominating everyone. They have flashy and relentlessly aggressive playstyles. Which is super fun to watch and play but is very high risk. In pro games, the lobby is 60 of the best players in the game. They are just trying to survive. Every decision basically decides the fate of your game and there's no room for error. So when you watch them do some heroic shit to come from behind and clutch up a win, it's super hype. Especially when it's a tournament winning victory.

I'm glad they talked about TTK. I played a game for yeeaars, where I could walk around with a gun at head level and tap headshots for 1 or 2 hit kills. It was basically whoever saw the other first won the fight and there was a whole lot of ping involved. I like how apex lets drawn out guns fights with movement that often involve healing. Some of this shit feels like a John Wick movie. It's so much more exciting then just flat maps and one tap kills.
You guys miss what happened with that Horizon at 18.48. He threw her lift under the opponent above him in order to give the other team a better line of sight to get the kill. He pushed him in front of a train basically.
