Seeing the little girl was really inspiring. It reminded me of how children have so much potential but many don't unlock it because they were not trained in the right way. Sometimes, the best way for your child to grow might not be the usual path taken by others. But it doesn't matter, what matters is that the light in your little girl or boy shines out brightly for the world to see. 'Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.' - Psalm 127:4-5
Chris has absolutelly nothing to do with Jordan Peterson now a days. JP used to be a champion of responsability and self improvement, but now he's more of a religious/abstract philosopher. Chris is following the footsteps of Joe Rogan or Tim Ferriss way more than JP.
Thank you, Chris, for all of your content. You're just an amazing human being sharing other amazing humans with the rest of us. So cool. It's very uplifting.
Congratulations on your accomplishments, you've both developed a lot in the last couple of years, especially with discussing struggles men face with their undertakings; even if other guys already thought you had it all together already. Godspeed my good men.
This was so funny. I was at that night and being able to see and listen to Chris live in Sydney was fantastic. Both he and James were great. Chris is the real deal, down to earth, courageously vulnerable and encouragingly challenging. Wonderful to see the next generation having great role models (but probably good he didn't post the earlier part of the night to see what he was refering to 😂)

Chris Williamson, a star that gleams, A soul that dances in golden dreams. Your path is bright, or so it seems, A name that flows in life's great streams.
Its always good when a man is mindful of if he said something bad in front of a child. Its so unattractive to see a man spewing off all kinds of curse words in front of kids.
For that first one, I really think it's dependent on their previous situation. If it was pretty bad or lackadaisical, then I think the response was superb. Unfortunately, that's not always how it works. Sometimes, your success was achieved through your own grit, but it was also open to you due to the foundations set by friends and family (if you have good friends and family). In that case, leaving that life behind can create an overly self-serving person, which can lead to failure. Then, you've got nothing to fall back on since your priority shift. A supportive community is more important for entrepreneural success than many realize or are willing to admit.

I think my son did better at taking advice due to the analysis we'd both go through after the baseball games he played. Instead of "do this and don't do that", it was all about looking at what he did well and what didn't work for him upon game review. Later on outside of baseball we'd approach situations, including upcoming situations from similar analysis techniques. He's now working his first career job after getting degrees in mechanical and industrial engineering. More analysis and implementations in his future. ;-)
Regretfully Chris' exposure to Australia includes less people who do not turn up to his sort of gigs than those that do - so his 'sample' of Australia may be somewhat biased. There are so many places in Australia he could go to e.g., Lakemba in Sydney, or Alice Springs, and develop a completely different view of "Australia".
I thought the same too.But i think we should be mindful enough to see which advise is beneficial for us in the long run. What can be implemented at the present moment qnd which later on,bcz we also have our own goals ,dreams and desires to obtain and fulfill. Also what level of mindset do we have at that moment(and where we need to improve). Not everyones suggestions and advices are welcome. We can politely ignore them without offending anyone(if they are close people)
You know what. Fuck it. I'm in. Spent far too long listening to all these amazing people speak about ideas that resonate with me so deeply. But I've stayed back at the edges afraid, wondering if I should dip my toes in and test the waters. I've heard so many warnings that this set of modern philosophers are dangerous, false, and regressive. But it feels true. It seems genuine and real. And the set of ideologies I've lived in and that have been repeated around me by those sounding the warnings has created a miserable life for me and for them and seems to only get worse by the day. I don't know. Maybe the concepts of manifestation, self-actualization, and becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy through taking responsibility is actually just a delusion. It certainly seems better than the alternative. Excuse me, I'm going to go clean my room.
People getting upset about Chris cursing is kinda ridiculous. Words are just that words. It’s not like he was throwing out tons of other words in his speech. People should think of curse words as words that communicate emotional impact and amplify the word itself. It’s easier to say a curse word that conveys a feeling with a statement rather than saying a longer sentence
Words are not “just” words. Maybe people being upset is ridiculous but so is the argument that they’re “just” anything. They’re symbols of meaning and expression.

Do you know. There’s something I struggled with a lot. And I guess it’s like self-worth or self sabotage or something like that. And I always do wonder why I have such things yet at the same time I feel so undeserving of it sometimes even to live and I always ask, what’s the point Everything I do is just selfish everything I do is just either evil or self-righteous self righteous can be evil to walking on a sword and you’re trying to stay in the middle of the blade and you got the left in the right both with a sharp edge and will cut you. You boast in your good works and people will hate you because that’s all you talk about, but that’s just as evil too. It’s like I’m afraid to want things. The only thing that I really deserve, and I cannot say it here. But it’s 6ft in the ground
