I have this on cassette from it’s original broadcast - one of these was the heaviest thing I’d heard in my 24 years . Bought the vinyl a year later and was gutted at the tinny production compared to the job that the bbc had done for Peeley . I believe they changed direction to a more dance sound but I may be wrong. Used to follow them around the UK - absolutely amazing live and the albums were awesome too - still music to get stoned to!!!

They were like a psychedelic Joy Division. Saw them in Hull in the early days. Fantastic gig, loud and powerful, but never heavy metal.

Back in the day, they were always classed as a Spacemen 3 cover band. Spacemen 3 were on another level. Yet, these were still good.
