Very sad demonstration of arrestor vs no arrestor… needed to give ‘Er little more ….. actually , a LOT more pepper in my opinion 🤦♂️ really couldn’t tell any difference and if there was any difference then it was significantly very hard to notice.
Those throttle blips were very depressing. Not sure there was any reason you didn't revbomb the shit out of it so we can actually hear the difference, or what.
Good point. The engine wasnt at operating temp and I’m just one of those ppl that has to wait until it is. The viewers deserved some more pepper I will admit
@@frankiemarchese2978 In fact, I am the very same way. No action until ready for it. I guess you could have left it idle and warm up before shooting the clip. Anyways, in my KLX450R, I keep mine in as well...
Yeah I should have ran it up the block too. Maybe ill make an updated video this spring or something since I have a whole different system on it now. Carbon tip/megabomb header

It will only increase power if the outside environment fits the jetting changes. For example if this makes the bike more rich and its hot out then it’ll make it run like crap, kinda how it did for me. But in the winter time if my pilot jet is small and i need more fuel, maybe the spark arrestor removed will increase the power. So basically it doesnt increase power, itll just make the bike either jetted better, or worse. Hope that made sense.

I agree, I get disappointed every time I go back and watch this. I should’ve rode a wheelie down the block with both options.

My 426 likes no spark arrestor though its funny, that thing just likes to be on the pipe and screeeam
Mom, the meatloaf!
So if i dont have a stock exhaust, i should go with bigger jet? My ltz400 does a big loud pop when rev.
Yes, I would go up one size on the pilot and main jet. Keep your fuel screw within 1.5-3 turns out

Hey does it affect performance at all?
nice...where did u get that tail light?
I got it on ebay, it was one of those cheap universal ones like $12. It was a pain to wire up but really wasn’t that hard
do u need it
Definitely don’t need it unless you need to prevent forest fires riding in the woods or something.
@@frankiemarchese2978 does it damage engine without it?

sorry for the elementary question, but I have a husky FE250, does doing this increase power alittle? thanks

Check your jetting. If its all stock i’d go a size up on the pilot and main circuits
