Glennis I don't understand why you don't come to the states and do a residency singing Whitney songs another songs in Las Vegas you are the only one that can give that tribute of her because when you sing and we close our eyes you sound just like her and you honor her so well since the pandemic everything changed I don't see you much on RUclips not just you a lot of artists are not on RUclips anymore we miss you a lot take care God bless😊😊❤

Hold on! Honestly, the part when she started singing "I Will Always Love You," I thought to myself, "Oh, They used Whitney's voice for this part. Whitney sounds so good! I miss this voice." I thought that the whole time the "Always Love You" segment played. But then I realized: it's Glennis!!!! Holy cow! Unbelievable! And it's not that she's a Whitney impersonater: many artist are inspired by Whitney and like to try to sing her songs: but NONE of them actually SOUND like her. None have her tone. ONLY GLENNIS DOES! She truly is a rare gem in the desert. A rare bird you only see once in your life.
Thats why I also want to see her once in my life. ^_^

Listening to Glennis, I feel she has not only a great affinity but also a special connection with Whitney. The audience's emotional reaction is as if Whitney herself has appeared on stage and it gives tremendous raw power to the performance. Glennis' talent is immense and needs a world stage.

1:01 Glennis, no one can deny you're a very good singer, but it's true that many of your Whitney - performances are based on studio and/or live performances of Whitney. Real Whitney - fans hear/see that immediately! At the 1994 Soundmix Show you had to imitate Whitney and at your Whitney concerts you are still doing that most of the time by doing things like:
- wearing almost exactly the same dress (ex. red dress Whitney wore at her Welcome Home Heroes concert).
- having same/similar hairstyles.
- using binding texts that Whitney said in between songs.
- holding the handkerchief in your hand like Whitney often did.
- bringing a child onstage like at Whitney's Welcome Home Heroes concert.
- put a video of the SSB online at it's 30th anniversary.
- singing the Higher Love remix version when Whitney was having a big posthumous hit with the Kygo remix.
- using the Clive introduction from Whitney's first TV performance at the Merv. Griffin show.
- etc.
It's not true that Whitney didn't like dresses. She didn't like to wear them all the time (especially in her private time). Whitney often felt too much pressure because people expected too much of her and that she always was dressed in gowns and perfect hair & make up all the time. Of course nobody can look like a super model all the time. Especially off stage Whitney liked to wear casual clothing.
I grant you an international career of your own and hope you can cut yourself loose from Whitney. The only way to achieve that is recording/performing great new songs in a non-Whitey style. Success!

You are aware it's a Whitney tribute show right? You wanted her to dress like Madonna and sound like Shakira during a tribute to Whitney? 😂 It's about celebrating Whitney, enjoy it instead of trying to make to make them compete in your mind. It's not a competition it's a tribute.. and she nailed it.
Besides that, she got a natural tone to certain parts of her register that is very close to Whitney. Probably because she is influenced by Whitney from young age and it shaped her singing style as well. Which you should also appreciate as a Whitney fan.
Literally just enjoy it or move on, Glennis isn't gonna change for you anyway. ❤😊

What happened with this?? There was hardly anything there to listen to, the first few bars of love will save the day and literally the last couple of notes of I will always love you!! What kind of tribute is that, I’m confused!! It felt to me like someone had edited out the actual songs and just left a few notes!! That’s certainly not how you usually do!! Unless you’re sick to death of singing Whitney songs I just can’t understand how what is right here in this video can be called a Whitney tribute!!??
And I have to agree with the comment I just read about you going back to the states and doing a residency in Vegas!! Like the one you did when you wore the red homecoming dress of hers!! That show was impeccable!! I have absolutely no idea what the hell this is supposed to be, but I’m seriously unimpressed. What a disappointment ☹️
