Cool result but I just studied the guide. It's like a battle against the manufacturer, who wants to prevent at all costs. That I use the ns panal without its bridge. It's one thing to go to all this trouble, but it's quite another to support such a manufacturer by buying it. I'd rather buy a Shelly Wall Display.
Good morning, I find all your videos very interesting and I have made my dashboards with your personalized cards because they look very good. This video interests me a lot because I have an nspanel pro and I would like to use it like yours. Many thanks for everything.
Interesting video, thanks. Like others, I'd like to see more details about your dashboards, especially that weather display - what integration or blueprint are you using to allow the weather animation with touch action?
Really nice work! From all my findings on NS Panel Pro it's the first time I see a complete integration with HA without seing the Android status bar and even the "lock" screen being used. How did you do that ? Do you (or anyone that comes across this message) has a tutorial/link on how to have that kind of integration that makes it "invisble" that it is backed by HA ? Thanks :)
I use the Fully Kiosk Browser. And I hide the Android bottom navigation in the Launcher. I actually dont remember doing anything about the lock screen, but it never gets activated. Think maybe this app could help github.com/seaky/nspanel_pro_tools_apk
You need to enable adb somehow so that you can sideload apps.. Not sure how that is done on newer firmware. I followed this guide, but not sure how updated it is blakadder.com/nspanel-pro-sideload/
@@alondinbar6193 Im trying to figure out some smart usage for the NSPanel, have to say that currently its usually just sits on the shelf without being used all day
Just letting you know. It's not plug and play. You need to install apk and stuff before you get into HA. But once you got it all installed and running its really nice :)
Woow very great implementation, is your code available? Or better are maybe planning to make a tutorial how you did the set-up? Thanks for sharing the possibilities
Nice work! I bought an NSPanel too, now im curios, if you set the display size to small or leave it on default? I got various spaces between the buttons (dropdown takes half of the screen), with your code. Thanks!
Hi, I followed this guide: blakadder.com/nspanel-pro-sideload/ You dont have to do the part about pulling the device apart and so on. Hard for me to now make a video because I cant revert the device back to factory state
Wow! Best implementation of this Panel ive seen so far. Please show us how you made it
Very minimalistic and nice looking!
Could you provide your dashboard files? I would love to use this!
can you please share the dashboard? looks really nice. it could use some updates but you have a very good base
Can you create video how you run ha on it? Seems to be super hard process

great videos as always - love the content you produce! looking forward to seeing the behind the scenes code. a coffee coming your way!
Very kind. Thank you 😊

I have a few videos about the weather cards. Latest one is probably the one you want to watch.
Excellent video, makes me want to see how you've created this dashboard. I'll checkout your other content.
This looks really nice and clear. How is the fullscreen sliding done?
Cheers! Check out swipe navigation:

@@My_Smart_Home thanks :) I thought at 0:05 that it was the actual lockscreen but it is a dashboard I guess.
Are you going to share a video of the configuration for the dashboard design?
Yeap. Got a few questions about this already so looks like I have to :)
Nice but how do you get companion app on it
You need to enable adb somehow so that you can sideload apps.. Not sure how that is done on newer firmware. I followed this guide, but not sure how updated it is blakadder.com/nspanel-pro-sideload/
You don't, you open the web interface instead of the companion app.
Yes! Please show the code…I have one of these in my house. Would love to take full advantage of what it can do with HA
Working on the video right now :)
Does still work after last HA update to 2024.8. Mine was working smoothly before but now it is so slow and laggy that it is unusable.
It would be really great to see how you created the dashboard
Yeah I will
nice video, wonder if it can be used as a voice assistant satellite also
Yes I'm wondering about this too. Any ideas about where to start?
nah, haven't messed much with voice but I wanna replace all my google ones@@My_Smart_Home
Cant wait for more details 😇
Do you use the companion app or fully kiosk?
Working on the video now. Takes a bit longer than my usual videos. Im using the companion app
Any update to this dashboard? (:
I still use basically whats shown in th video. I've just removed the whole room section. Anything in particular youre after?
@@My_Smart_Home just inspiration like like always with you channel (:

@@My_Smart_Home bot sth specific. Maybe thermostat card style google nest.
Btw you use fully kiosk or ha companion?
@@alondinbar6193 yeah good idea. Less is more I think. I use Fully kiosk.
This is really nice, now I have into buy a Sonoff NsPanel Pro
Me too xD

@@My_Smart_Homeso I’m waiting for your next video that shows us how to do that then, and then your next video how to do the dashboards 😂
Nice work! I just grabbed one and made a dashboard thats very similar. I’d love to see the behind the scenes and code.
Cool. Would be great to see yours as well. I'll do another video about the code.

Would it be possible to side load home assistant but still use it as a hub? Eg to connect a scene controller like the R5 and pick up the events.
It might be possible with the upcoming update to this app.

What theme are you using? Feel free to send me email with screenshots as well. Its a bit easier to help then.
Please make a video on how to make the dashboard running on the panel.

I also recommend this article. Lots of great little tricks blakadder.com/nspanel-pro-secrets/
Woow i loke it. Exelent job
Cheers!
Amazing!
Dashboard please!
does it come with a power cord?
No. You can either connect to a electric wall box or a normal (230v in my case) cable. I just used an old cable from a lamp.
This looks really nice! Curious about the dashboard code.
When did you buy the NS panel? i know some versions no longer support ABD
I got mine in early February
Please do 5 videos a week! 😉 (+comment for algorithm)
how did you achieve that effect by navigating between views?
Swipe navigation. But its a bit buggy for me, Ive started using the default top navigation again.

@@My_Smart_Home yes, I've seen it. I already had it but I didn't know it could do that. It runs smoothy.
Thank you.
how did u activate the fullscreen of HA in NSPanel?
Kiosk Mode from HACS. But its buggy so I dont use it anymore
