Steve, you have perfect timing because the guy at my local gardening shop has asked me to make him some of these. I do like your process as well as your technique. You make it look so easy. Thank you for the inspiration as always. Dave
@woodturner21 Thank you Steve, I will have a go at free hand sharpening my skews. It does look to be easier to control how much light pressure compared to having the tool on the rest. Thanks again
I could watch your videos all day! Great music and excellent content. Have you ever considered sharing your sharpening techniques? Excellent work, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful tooling mate, a pleasure to watch. I've had one of those pot makers for years and they save you loads of money on seed and cutting pots! I've recently taken up turning and can't wait to have a go at making one. It won't be to the high standard of yours but it will give me the much needed practice. What wood do you use and do you put anu finish on them? Really enjoyed the video. Cheers Andy Yorkshire

Danke für das schöne Video wie hoch über die Mitte ist beim Längsdrehen mit dem Meisel die Handauflage eingestellt oder ist das nicht wichtig. LG.
It’s not that important I set it slightly above center. The most important thing is you are comfortable.
