Damn, this looks like fun, expands the sampling from the Ultimate Driving Experience offers when they travel to several US cities. I like how calm he was when he was driving you guys lol. Good lessons to be learned from them and the wet skidpad stuff is valuable during our rainy summers. That ZF 8 speed is shockingly good, it holds gear at redline and shifts fast as fast as a dual clutch, friend competitively autocrossed his daily M240i on it until his track toy e36 was ready. I was impressed just watching his runs at events and getting to drive it a few times
What I loved about the whole experience was it provided education that I think is needed for owners. To see the potential and personal driving limits. Best part it was incrediblely fun and engaging. The lead instructor was a savage on the track. He was so relaxed and kept us wanting more. Even though I'm definitely a manual type of guy that ZF 8 speed was no joke. It felt nice and I was shocked on how quickly it shifted.
Wow, I think these type of driving lessons should be mandatory for everyone that has their license 🤣. Awesome day man, I can’t wait to do this one day hopefully 😬

I’ve thrown around non-abs cars in emergency situations , these cars are amazing with the adaptive suspension , their braking/handling capabilities are out of this world can’t wait until I can rip a full M car . Seriously that pick your car up/car deliver is no gimmick , with the driving class offered 1000% on where the braking distance between you and another car is on -point.. that’s real life scenarios.
Yup I totally agree. It's purchasing with the added value. There was no gimmick or ways to charge you extra fees which was nice. I highly recommend this process
I'll be going later at the end of the month as a guest with a friend of mine. He is doing the two day Sat and Sunday. He had thoughts of going to Cali, but SC was closer and just easier for us to do time wise. Going to be staying in downtown Greenville.

I Couldn't wait for the long process of customization so I picked the one with the best speced during the two week time. Alpine white black wheels carbon Etc. with red interior. Could not have been happier with it since! The manual is just so special that I prefer it over wife's M8 GC and my X5M in Beijing any day of the week. Enjoy it with good health bro!
Agreed! The manual is a great car to keep that engagement while traveling on local roads. After going through the PDC, It'll be hard not to take delivery there.

The good thing about the drivers at the bmw performance center are racing drivers some of them are 24hr lemans drivers and drifters. Derrick is awesome He’s been driving for Bmw M school a long time. Since I work at the factory we get the discounts at the store on the merch. If you ever decide to go again let me know I can meet u over at the performance center.

You mentioned shipping from Georgia.. I want to do performance center delivery but I want my car shipped home as I live over 2000 miles from Spartanburg. Who did you use and did they ship without a scratch? Any advise appreciated ..
Yes that video is coming out next week. I ended up booking my enclosed transport from BookEZ and spoke with Jeff (855-324-8372). He did a great job explaining the process and I needed a specific timeline which you'll see in that video and he made it happen. Just note with the high cost of gas it wasn't cheap for enclosed. I ended up paying 1k enclosed from GA to FL. An open carrier would have been a lot cheaper. Definitely reach out to Jeff and let him know I sent you over. He did not disappoint on getting me setup. Zero scratches and the driver came on time.
It’s a $2500 up charge if it was free I’d most definitely do it. Dodge gave me one free with the purchase and I still haven’t did that yet. Hope it don’t expire. Awesome video

Yeah i never knew about this process until a few years ago. The only downside is you'll need to find transportation back to your home. Located in Palm Beach County.
I definitely could have but I wanted to get the proper breakin mileage in instead of just having highway. BMW says you should not leave it in cruise control or at a long steady rpms during that break in period. I also wanted to get the car entirely ppf'd. So getting some rock chips or imperfections before that would have been unfortunate
