This happened to me after visiting mom who lived in a different state. I had a bad feeling all day and kept thinking that I should change my flight to the following morning. Of course I didn’t. As I boarded the plane the feeling got ten times stronger. We sat on the runway for an hour, in this tiny airport. I finally couldn’t stand it any longer and told the flight attendant I wanted, no needed to get off this plane. I whispered it to her, not wanting to alarm the other passengers. The odd thing was people all around me began saying they wanted off as well. About seventy percent of the plane wanted off. They taxied back to the gate and let us out. The next morning while boarding my flight I asked what time the plane took off last night. The attendant said that they discovered an issue with the hydraulics after they taxied back to the gate. My mouth fell open. I was shocked. In talking with my mom later, she said she also had had a bad feeling about the flight as well. Thank God for giving me a heads up.

There were a number of people who had premonitions about the Titanic. One mother refused to change out of her clothing at night, staying up watching her children sleep. When the family felt the THUMP of hitting the iceberg, she said, "That's it. We must go to the deck."
Repeat a couple of people who were booked to fly out of NYC on 9/11.
My mother and grandmother were highly psychic. I won't go into my own experiences of "knowing," but suffice it to say I've learned to listen to that inner voice, and I don't question it.

I've heard that little voice before--twice in movie theaters, almost a decade apart--and I decided to ignore it because I didn't want to cause a panic for no reason...

I guess it's one of those instances where hindsight truly makes all of the difference.

The story about the doomed flight reminded me of when actress Lindsay Wagner became sick and had felt anxiety about boarding American Airlines Flight 191, which ended up crashing. Lindsay missed the flight and obviously survived.

    • @killerfrank8974
      @killerfrank8974 6 дней назад +14

I'm almost certain that's the exact same case I was thinking about as he was describing this one. If I'm remembering it correctly, it was her and her mother that were set to fly on it, but she got sick with anxiety and they didn't get on. If it's the case I'm thinking of, Bedtime Stories - another great paranormal channel here on RUclips - did a story on it where, in addition to Lindsay Wagner's premonition there was a guy who before the crash happened was having a nightmare every night about an airline crash for sometime. The dream was so vivid and horrifying that he tried to warn the authorities but to no avail. I'm almost certain that's the same case.

Similar thing happened with John Candy. He called his wife before he boarded the plane to go down to Mexico to film, "Wagons East" his last film. According to John Candy's wife Rosemary, she said that he was saying on the phone call that he was unsure about flying down there because he had a bad feeling about doing this and that something doesn't feel right. If you look up scary stories told by nurses that work the night shift, you will hear many stories from all people who work in hospitals on third shift that report the same thing over and over. Dead people who do not yet know that they are dead will appear alive, even in physical form, and some nurses and security guards will help them get back to their room by taking them by the arm and helping them there. suddenly, the people will turn around to check the room right before they leave and the patient has vanished. They will check with the front desk and will learn that that patient passed away earlier that morning or the day before. We have probably all talked to people that have passed away and just didn’t know it because they looked Real.

I wanted to tell the teacher but i didnt even know what i would tell her wqs wrong. About 30 minutes later she got a call and we were all lead to the library. We all sat down and watched ghe twin towers get hit and go down. Nothing else happened that day that would give me thay type of bad feeling. I would like to assume that i felt 9/11 happen somehow. Ive had this type of feeling/insight 1 other time in my life. It really is so strange and unfamiliar to have a bad feeling yet not know why or about what.

We were on holiday in St Petersburg in Russia in 2017. I knew the city well from previous visits, but this was my wife's first trip to Russia. We got on the metro with the aim of travelling to the Andrei Nevsky Monastery which is a beautiful church, and Dostoievsky is buried in the grounds. After a couple of stops, I had a sudden and overwhelming sense that something wasn't right. This was not a city where terrorism was an imminent threat, but I felt we needed to get off the train. I said to my wife, let's get off at the next stop and walk the rest of the way, which is what we did. After we had visited the church and lit candles (I'm an Orthodox Christian) we decided to walk back along the Nevsky Prospect and stopped to buy some souvenirs in a shopping arcade. I then received a text from a friend asking whether we were ok? I asked him what he meant, and it was then he told us that there had been a massive bomb on the metro. There was no rational basis to the feeling that we had to get off the train, bit it was so intense that I didn't feel that we had any choice.

My favorite theory on those gut feelings is that it comes from our connection with our guardian angels. They can see what is coming far better than we can and their concern for us is sometimes shared, so we become inexplicably worried about something without there seeming to be any rationale behind it. It also explains why some people in dire circumstances sometimes "hear" instructions inside their head that, when followed, saves their lives. It's just a theory but I like it a lot.

OMG! Me too, over 10 times he has warned me and saved my life almost every time. I do exactly what he says right then, after the first time telling me THREE times to slow down when approaching a blind curve on a freeway late at night. A huge accident had blocked all lanes just around the curve! On the third time he had to finally YELL at me to pay attention! Once he spoke to my brother, telling him to go back and check on me. I was pinned underwater with my huge ATV on top of me. I wish he would speak to me more often, but grateful when he has. They are always watching out for us, even if sometimes they get there at the last second, still preventing a disaster!!! I guess they have other things to do as well. Ha ha.

I shared this with my wife, and she was asking the usual questions, like whether it is financial worries, something wrong at work, personal relationships etc etc. I said it was none of the above, and i just couldn't identify why i was feeling the way i was. That illogical feeling is called intuition. There's your mind/ego telling you things; there's your emotions telling you things; and then there's that still small voice. We have to learn how to quiet the racket of the mind and emotions and listen. Not ignore those things, but not to let them overpower that "gut feeling." The mind is all about the rational and logical; the emotions are there to guide our moral choices; and the intuition is there to keep us on our path. We make the best decisions when bring them together. No matter the situation, the mind - heart - guts combo is always the best equation.

I was heavily pregnant during a summer and was longing to go out on the lake, with my family. I told my mom that I'd wait til I had my baby, because it was hot and miserable. When the time came, my mom came out to pick me and my kids up, but I immediately told her that I was fine. I became fine with not going, I no longer had the longing to go. Mom even said "Are you sure? You've been talking about going for months". I was adamant, though. She left for the lake.
A few hours later, I get a call saying that there had been a tornado in that area and their boat capsized. Everyone was okay but badly injured. The thing is, is that there were only enough life jackets for the people that went. And certainly not one for my newborn. I found that out, after the fact. Also, the bad weather had come out of nowhere, within minutes.
It was in Cheney, Kansas 2005

The Dick Clark event is similar to something that happened to my mother. When she was very little she saw her father appear at the foot of her bed when he was fighting in France during WW1. A short time after her mother received a telegram to say he was missing in action. Later on she was told that he was found suffering from the effects of a mustard gas attack. It even happened a second time when he was gassed again. Thankfully he lived until around 1972. :)

Not really related, but you mention doppelganger in the Dick Clark story. Ive had a strange doppelganger series of encounters. Well, series, maybe not. Three, but only 2 mine, yet all related.
I went to a store, and see and speak to my cousins son. I ask him how the college basketball game he attended with his father was. I can tell he doesn't recognize me, but he answers that was his brother.
I see my cousin a week or so later and tell her and her husband. They tell me that wasn't their son at that store. I say that he looked just like him. I mention the basketball game discrepancy. Same team, same game, yet it was the cousin I thought I was talking to.
Then they tell me they saw my dog and I near a McDonald's driving. Its a route I sometimes took, so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I ask what day. The day they say, I hadn't driven that route all week. I didnt think much beyond wrong werk.
About a month later, im exiting that very McDonald's and see almost me drive by. Same truck but black, while mine is dark blue. Same dog, where mine had a red nose, his was black. Same hat, nose, sunglasses, even the same type of shirt I would wear.
One of these events happening is odd, but not much to think about. But all three, between the same people. And all within about a months time was certainly something to take notice of. Also, I never saw my cousins not kid working at the store again. Never saw the not me driving. Nor did my cousin or her husband ever see the not me again.

My best theory is that people are usually distracted by their own messy lives and anyone feeling anxiety probably convinced themselves it was just typical pre-flight nervousness. Most are uncomfortable acting on those feelings if it would cause any major disruptions to plans or large groups of people. Just a theory.

It's because usually it's something we would never actually notice. We have a feeling and take a different way to work and avoid a car accident. But because we avoided it we never knew it would happen. Or it's such a small thing we never even notice it besides thinking. "That was lucky". I think most people only really notice those gut feelings when they ignore them. At least that was the theory I had after my grandmother died. The night before she died I had a strong feeling to call and talk to her. But since I knew she normally went to bed early I decided to call her the next day. By mourning she was in the ICU and by that afternoon she was dead.

Something told me to focus on the black SUV on the other side of the street. I did. Light turned green for me, but stayed red for them. They jutted out like they had a green. If I didn't keep an eye on them and wait a second after I got the green, I woulda been hit. I couldn't see the driver or anything, just, had a strong feeling to keep an eye on them.

Under certain conditions these thoughts/feelings/knowledge are able to jump between dimensions. Several times, I myself, have been moved between these alternate timelines. Each time, driving my car, I am instantaneously miles down the road, or on a different road entirely. No, not on drugs! No meds! Crazy. This has happened to several other people I know as well.
