Rocky is on my list of favourite films 👍🏻 Love all the Rocky films. Burt was brilliant as Paulie 🙏🏻rest easy Burt and Carl🥊🇺🇲🥊and everyone else from the franchise.
Condivido personalmente e pienamente il video raffigurante il Docufilm che rispecchia la morale del film Il Senso della Reputazione raffigurando il carattere dei personaggi protagonisti
@AlexanderBalboa20 I'm more of a music fan than a movie fan in general., watching something once is usually enough for me. But I treat the rocky films more like do my favourite albums,, still watching one of em maybe once a month in my mid 40s.. And the little tidbits picked up from documentaries like this can make the next watch that tiny more enjoyable.. so cheers again,, and will they be more??
@bombercountyblues this was a 3 part “ Making of “ , there are still more extra features on the BluRay regarding Bill Conti who made the soundtrack, the make up, and even a trivia game. As a music fan you’ll probably enjoy the one with the soundtrack. Keep an eye on the channel for when I’ll post it. Cheers buddy 👌🐅
Unfortunately there is no part 4 , this was the last one. There is the other interview with Stallone on the Special Features BluRay , a trivia game from the Rocky movies and a lot of small documentaries about the music in the movie, the makeup. This was the only one connected directly to making of the movie. I wished there was more as well. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I feel the same way , all the best
❤ Wow, I love, this so much, thank you, so very much it is amazing great, beautiful, strong, powerful, dramatic, inspiring, loving, incredible, grueling, exceptional and so much more.I love it all! Rocky! Legendary, all of the artists.
Exactly ! It has everything, it feels like magic watching it every time ! My number 1 movie of all time ! All the actors I feel like they deserved at least to be nominated for an award. And the story behind it…oh my god…perfect ! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. For a long time I felt I was the only one feeling like that about Rocky ! All the best !
Yes I was in a way born to love the Rocky Balboa story. Fine by me because I like mr Stallone a lot. He chose the name Balboa because he lived close to a street named Balboa Bulevard. Interesting stuff. All the best to you ❤️
man tremendous you got me google esrthing all the locations to see if there still there. petshops a blank block rockys appartment hasntnt chsnged 1 bit , the 1888 numbers still on the brickwall but worn youb
It is an amazing making of , wish I would have walked the streets of Philadelphia, I am sworn to run those stairs , hopefully I will one day. I’ll google earth the locations as well. Thank you
The remake subject came up in another forum just the other day. I posted that there were two movies that should NEVER be touched. Rocky and Jaws. What is understood need not be explained.
No doubt about that. That’s exactly what made Rocky so great. Stallones ability to put his actual life and feelings on camera. It wouldn’t work these days
The scene where Rocky is at the Spectrum and notices the depiction of his shorts is wrong and the promoter dismisses the poster. Rocky realizes he is totally discounted as a boxer and has something to prove..
Yes that’s exactly how Stallone explained the scene as well. It’s one of those movies where every scene has depth to them and can mean a lot even for you and me, or anybody who watches the film. You feel sorry for him but want him to go the distance. My favourite movie of all time no doubt about that
I always wondered if Sly had any trouble shedding the habit of moving foot to foot, back and forth all the time, whenever he spoke. Its such a small thing that adds so much to Rocky's authenticity.
@@AlexanderBalboa20 that's what comes from so many viewings. It was one of the things I'd always tell people to look for when, in the schlocky days you'd sometimes have people claim he wasn't a good actor. Wasn't enough to remind them of Rocky, you had to point to something he was doing that was so authentic they didn't even register it.
@@AlexanderBalboa20 Its sort of what happens, it was the end of that era of film, the formula sequels....Cobra...(love to hate that one, fun to watch with friends and laugh) saw that one at a drive-thru paired with Arnold's Commando, another schlocky one. The one liners. Things always suck at their end, the nineties ushered in the plot driven indie films and left those star driven shallow ones behind. He kind of came back to it with number six though, he just needed another Rocko story to jumpstart him. :) Nah Little Marie.....it ain't alright
I did the Rocky steps on my 50th birthday. At the top in the middle there is a slab with ROCKY and a pair of converse footmarks. I think they are there at 10.38 ? My eyes poor now ?!
I can see something as well in the slab. Nobody knew about Rocky by the time they filmed that scene but who knows. Happy birthday buddy. It’s definitely on my bucket list but it’s a long way from UK. How did you feel ? I always imagine I would cry myself at the top
Paulie was actually supportive in a very difficult way. That why everybody loved him. And he says to Rocky he would love to be him. Until he was face to face with Drago 😂
There’s only 3 parts buddy unfortunately. There’s another Stallone interview where he talks more about unknown things like the story of him and Butkus on my channel. Have a look if you have time. Cheers
Hands down the best movie of all time...
Absolutely! 💯❤️
Agreed
Not even close.
@ a person’s opinion on a movie being the greatest or the best is entirely subjective, there is no actual definitive answer
@@WarriorEsotericWell, Little Nicky, Showgirls and Breakin 2 will never be considered the greatest movie of all time. So maybe it’s not subjective…
The best movie of all times … RIP to all the ones that are gone and health and many more years to Sly. ❤
Stallone create it all and he’s one of the only ones left. Must be difficult .Masterpiece of a movie. RIP Carl, Burt , Tommy and Sage

RIP Burt and Carl
RIP Legends
I remember hearing Burt Young say that he played Paulie as a guy that was semi arthritic.
Didn’t know that , I think there is some reference in Rocky Balboa when Duke tells Rocky he’s got arthritis and Paulie says I have that too. Right ?

Incredible movie they really dont make them like this.
Haven’t seen a movie in the last 10-15 years that gives you this feeling and motivation…
It's one of the best films obviously of all time ...but the GODFATHER 1 and 2 are the best films of all time period
Exactly. The Godfather had the legendary cast and an amazing story. Rocky had Stallone. It’s amazing they are in the same conversation
