🫣WHY do people have them if they can’t look after them properly it makes me very angry i wanted sulcatas 4 years I did research new so much about the breed i now own 4 sulcatas they are like my children ❤❤❤🐢🐢
Unfortunately consumer culture and easy access may be making it a little too easy to obtain an animal that can live into the 100s. Forever is a LONG time. Especially with the growing cost implications.
This is exactly what I have been looking for! I rescued a tortoise in January and the internet has confused me so much. The rescue place sold us a 5ft Viv with lighting. Which I hope is suitable for him. I just want him to have the best life he can. From the huge healed crack in his shell I think he had a bad life previous to us. 😢

There is still a lot of wrong info out there and most don’t mean to be ignorant. We all have a role to play to educate :)
