as a og beta player i can say the magic is gone, anti cheat is non existant and it is all spam accounts and bots grinding, i am honestely upset they let it die and come back with this
This game was released around the same time as Combat Arms, Point Blank, CrossFire etc. and it looked x10 times better than those. A.V.A was way ahead of his time back then.
The problem with this game is they removed the server rooms/lobby rooms, back in the day we used to join random rooms to play with other players, they removed it and change it to this quick match garbage where you can't really find any players, it's worse than the lobby rooms because you have absolutely no clue what is going on
And the best thing about having a lobby room is that you could just sit and chat with other players, stir up a challenge, and say ok let's go in this room, or create a room and we'll see who will win the battle. I don't think they should've change anything about the old UI because it wasn't broken, so why try and fix it.

Personally for me, I'm just busy with life. We have all become adults now so I think for the majority of the people we need to prioritize our time spent.
I used to play alliance of valiant arms a long time ago and I enjoyed this game mode where u fought like prisoners that ran at you with melee weapons and it was like a pve/coop game mode with different difficulties. I tried downloading ava global on steam but didnt find this gamemode. Is there any way I can play that again in 2023??
I don't believe so. They only released base game modes and have slowly added a few but the player base wasn't big enough to support all of them so they've narrowed the amount. At least thats how it was the last I checked.
I was excited to play it again. I just didn't like the missing features and the so called "updates" they tried to roll out occasionally. The game that I loved so much I haven't played in months because of what I mentioned.
when i download this on steam it doesnt startup. its using enmasse launcher. im in the netherlands is there a way for me to still play this? this was my childhood i would love to come back to it

I can't stand playing demolition. I don't have the patience to sit and wait for the round to end to play again after I die. I want quick respawns and back into action.

AVA is good now its just lacking the player base which most people left for the new games that came out. I currently stream and upload clips and gameplay still hoping it keeps growing
Poorly optimized games seem to be a problem across the board. Even games as recent as Apex have poor optimization, but the older games are definitely not caught up with the times.
Thank you! Black Squad isn't really an option anymore. With so few players, its next to impossible for me to get a game in competitive and even with them adding 5 queue again, the hours at which people are on haven't really coincided with my availabiity since they're all EU. All but maybe two of my friends quit (and those two don't really play), so I'm left just playing customs by myself. I wish it were like the good ol' days but, unfortunately, it just won't be like that again. Trying to find a new FPS to main when I can't play Apex though, so I'm open to suggestions!

Sadly the game seems mostly dead now. Just reinstalled it but can only find a few games with very few ppl in Annihilation Snipers-only mode, but zero ppl in the other modes. Disappointing because I used to play this a lot mainly for infection as an alternative from Halo, since CSGO doesn't seem to have any infection modes.
Aeria and Redduck colluded to make the game look another 5 years older than it already is about 10-12 years ago and it never recovered man Look how old it looks compared to screenshots and videos recorded in the golden era of the game. Downgrading visuals made the already too fast and shifty movement worse and large maps look so plain with low resolution textures and undetailed environments. There's nothing in Global to attract players new or returning. Black Squad is boring too. CS does a better job at being a gambling simulator so I think that's why it's so dominant and there really aren't many other successful F2P MMOFPS games anymore.
this sht is not ava it's black squad on top of old ava... only skins and dumb bots running in game... there are no decent players or somewhat worth for this game.... neowiz instead of reviving the game made it dull... for the love of god they had KAVA for ages and kept it well, but here... they failed.

I played this when it was alive. Til it died playing escape on boat. Fun times. My para game was nasty.
E-boat was arguably the most fun mode. I mastered that map and played it for days.
Do they still have all the co-op levels and stuff??? Where you get boxes??? Those were the most fun playing on "3Box only servers" and all that.

I played this for 3 years. I missed being able to aim down sights and found warface and never looked back. Warface is great
