    I remember when I was in highschool trying out for Allstate, rather than practicing 3 hours a day I’d take one day in the month and practice on 3 grams of mushrooms, made Allstate. When I pick tuba back up I’m definitely letting them be my teacher. You actually sparked something inside me to really push for it, thank you sir

    • @Pellagrah
      @Pellagrah 2 года назад

      that's an...uh...unconventional approach to the tuba. So you only practiced one day per month? Or did you cut back on the length of your practice sessions while adding in one psilocybin-fueled session every month?
      IME the only drugs that actually make you better at tuba are the mild ones like coffee, or medications if you have a health problem getting in the way. Psychedelics might help with musical expression, but I don't really see the benefit if you're looking to hone your technique, posture, breathing, etc.

    • @theyogisinger7148
      @theyogisinger7148 2 года назад

      @@Pellagrah it was a massive cutback I’m hours as the 3 gram-4gram psychedelic session helped me substantially in every area you just stated. So I’d maybe practice 3-5 hours a week or so and once a month have the trip involving only about 2-3 hours of it being hard practicing. Personally psilocybin took away the limitations I drew on myself as a tubist allowing me to practice without resistance to the practice itself which I had a lot of in terms of actually sitting my ass down and doing the work. It facilitated it and then some, I played best when I was using mushrooms and it translated a lot too without them(mind you I’m extremely adhd so I don’t expect others to have similar experiences as me)

    • @theyogisinger7148
      @theyogisinger7148 2 года назад

      @@Pellagrah I find the areas of growth needed identified with certain drugs to be relative, psilocybin allowed me to exponentially develop all areas of training and I rarely needed to breath during the sessions actually, I did more with less I suppose
