bring 10 stacks of building blocks, 8 Redstone torches 4 glass panes 4 pressure plates 4 Redstone Dust 4 Sticky pistons and have 4 lava source blocks(buckets or build adjacent lava pool) while 10 stacks of blocks may be excessive it will never be insufficient
Sorry for the reupload, someone rightfully pointed out that the lava mechanics are different in the nether so I had to modify the video. I didn't go over the survival techniques like in the last blaze video to reduce repetition, though to disable the spawner in the nether you need to place a torch like on literally every block around it 4 blocks in every direction
Thank you SO much for defining like "3 blocks and then the ceiling" or "17 blocks and then the ground". SOO many tutorials say "now 17 blocks..." and you don't know if that includes the walls or the blocks already there. Perfect explanation.
For anyone looking for needed items bring 5-10 stacks of building blocks, 8 Redstone torches 4 glass panes 4 pressure plates, 4 Redstone Dust 4 Sticky pistons and have 4 lava source blocks(buckets or build adjacent lava pool) while 10 stacks of blocks may be excessive it will never be insufficient
Loved this idea. I modified slightly and put the 4 lava locations 1 block beyond the wall. Made it real easy to add the lava without dying. Also used hoppers in the kill area and didn’t make it as far down as you did. Blazes spawn even when in the kill chamber now.
Clearcut tutorial, no overcomplicated redstone, compact, beginner-friendly... I love it...! First I need to find the fortress tho, just started a new run after not touching the game for like 6y... wish me luck lol
Your content is amazing! I'm calling it now, if you keep putting out vids like this you'll blow up for sure. Very easy to listen to, right to the point, highly informative.
I will try to do better with that, I haven't been so far since everyone's build will be different, but I agree that doing it for the materials that will stay the same like pistons, glass panes, lava, etc would be useful. I can't edit this video but I can add a comment and try it in other videos
Each side meaning the 6 faces of the box that encapsules the whole thing or the sides of lesser components like only the top part with the windows and then again for the "neck" of it? I always want to show dimensions of it but if I'm building it it feels awkward to show dimensions because it's either not built yet, or its after I built it which feels too late. For simple things (like a platform) I do want to just cut to start editing it to being built already then show the dimensions overlayed though
Its not the editing that is the problem, its just when I should show it with relation to building the piece and explaining it (showing it first would be ideal but of course it needs to be there, in which building it would have to take place first). I was going to experiment with the next video doing that so I will see how that goes
Its a statistics game. When there are enough blazes, they will start pushing each other into the middle. If you don't want to wait for that, you can probably raise the lava in the corners a block (put a block under it) which should cause it to go further into the middle, but I would make sure it is flowing in the correct direction if you do that
Sometimes they take a while to move down the first layer, the spawner should continue spawning though. Typically its a longer waiting game (like ~5 - 10 minutes) and on those time frames the amount being spawned will be the same as the amount going into the kill chamber
why did my pressure plates stop working? I've breaking them and replacing them, I even placed one on the ground to test if they were bugged and it worked when I stood on it. Very weird
I think now nether wood gates won't catch on fire and that is probably the best block to use to replace the panes (open gates of course), though when I made this video mine still kept catching on fire so I went with panes
Not that I know of, so crimson (or warped) gates are probably the best bet but idk if they still light on fire or not. I tested it earlier and it seemed fine though
can't you use trapdoors, like iron trapdoor or slabs for the killing chamber so that blazes won't be able to see the player...? most killing chambers are using slabs or trapdoor to prevent mobs recognizing the player...
Assuming you are close enough and there are no blazes floating around the spawner, then no they will just pile up at the bottom. Be careful because it will get pretty laggy after like 45 minutes lol
Hmm ya I just tried it and the lava kills the blazes apparently. The other two options I guess are to use more pistons, or just do a funnel (go in a block and down 2 blocks to get them into a single block) like in the other video. Sorry about that, I rarely use Bedrock so I don't know a lot of mechanics
I find it hard to understand, personally I have just started my adventure on the "Minecraft valhelsia enhanced" mod pack but how can we do to have a spawner? Isn't it a mob farm without a spawner?
With blazes you can build it around the area of the nether fortress with a spawner in it. They are consistent to find and take much less effort than other farms that require limiting the mob cap to a specific area
Hmm are they dying when they are over the ladders or are they piling up in the middle? I haven't had issues with the cramming even after the update but something sutble could have changed
@@ZennsWorld i can hear them taking damage in the killing chamber over the ladders when afking for a long time maybe the middle two blocks should have ladders also but that might stuck in the tunnel
Thats weird, I might look into this myself to see if I can recreate it; I know the pistons can sometimes squash the blazes and make them take damage but they shouldn't be taking damage in the bottom (and ya dont put ladders in the middle they will get stuck like you said)
Only if the ghasts have a reason to shoot the glass, i.e. you're standing in front of it. Generally a casing around where you are standing is needed to make sure any outside mobs don't cause issues but that very much depends on your specific layout
i just use over 3 houers to build this and only the last 5 min you say "in the nether" .... so what if i build it in the overworld, wont it work ? (with the lava)
Love it but just a suggestion. Putting the materials needed for the build in the description really helps a lot

I appreciate it, thanks! And thanks for the heads up on the lava, I completely forgot about that. Should be fixed now
@@ZennsWorld I saw. Glass panes idea is also really cool
Just finished your first blaze farm guide.... and then saw this one on the side lol - nice work and thanks for the content!
Haha no problem. Luckily the upgraded one can be made with minimal modifications to the unupgraded one
Was looking for a nice exp farm since yesterday and this is the best one so far, great video as well!
Thanks, glad I could help!
thank you a lot my armor was breaking and I had mending but I didn't know how to make a exp grinder so this helped a lot.
Mending is a huge motivation for me as well; such a good enchantment
and a tip for everyone but its kind of obvious spawn proofing the fortress helps A LOT
great turorial!. but to make it a lot better you can add to the video how much you need of every material of the farm

Bro why is your sensitivity so high lmao
Ya let me just drag my mouse across my entire desk instead
I watched the last vid and had the same issue so I just added lava. But this design is way cleaner then mine lol
Ya I am glad that this design was actually pretty compact despite being more complicated. The glass panes were super convenient too
I used fence gates instead of the glass panes. Tha blaze were getting stuck on the glass
do you know about how many rods this produces per hour? great tutorial btw
No idea but a lot. Depends on looting enchantment as well
the blazes keep going onto the blocks that the lava cant reach is there a way to fix that?
Its a statistics game. When there are enough blazes, they will start pushing each other into the middle. For me, after like a minute of the spawner being active the blazes start getting stuck around the outer walls and don’t go down.

nah i just suck i lost my hardcore world making this cus some reason 70+ blazes spawned outside then while carving it out i just died
Can you tell me the exact amount of blocks you need because I wanna make this but don’t wanna run low on resources
i built this farm, but the blazes keep getting stuck around the glass panes. is there something else I could put there that would work?

@@ZennsWorld ahahahah, but isn't there a limit of entities in the hole?
Thats what that ladder nonsense was for. That will bypass the cramming rules
Will this work on Bedrock? Great tutorial!
I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work on Bedrock, but I didn't actually test it for Bedrock

How do we pick up the blaze rods?
Statistically you will get some percentage of them so unless you need a million standing next to it is enough
