What I absolutely loved was the fact that a 60+ year old man was rocking a place filled with college-aged kids. It took him a minute to get started, but once he had the crowd, he had them for the rest of the gig. Perfection! Congratulations, Glarbsttentenford!

I once had a fluke miracle in math class somewhere around fifth grade. I was watching a bird build a nest outside and not paying attention at all when my teacher called on me with a question. I whipped around, blurted an answer and nearly fell off my chair when it was the right answer. She was just as shocked lol

I actually fell asleep in math class. Dreamt the ties on my sleeves that tickled me was a spider. I awoke whacking at my arm furiously with my other hand. The teacher asked "What was it?!" and I blurted out "Spider !!". People scrambled out of their seats and they organized a full scale search. I soon realized what had happened, but they were asking me "What color was it, where did it go ?" I was embarrassed !.

Brian Regan is our favorite comedian for over a decade and with about as many live performances in person. How we didn't know about Dennis until this day is absolutely mind-blowing!

Incredible storytelling, jokes and delivery. This guy should absolutely be bigger than he is... as a name in comedy. Super entertaining and clever, combined with the persona and voice he has is the complete package..
This is better than many many of the popular comics specials on the paid platforms.
Not only is he a phenomenal comedian, but I love the sound of his voice. He should do books on tape.

It took me like an hour and a half of replaying the section of the video where he says the smart question for the college professors using all the $20 words but I actually memorized it word for word! That was like 6 months ago and I can still recite it perfectly every time. That was probably one of my favorite parts! What is really hilarious is that if you start defining all of those words, it is actually a legitimate question that is coherent and not just a jumble of fancy words that don't go together.

For those of you not from the country, a switch is a long thin branch that you’re forced by your parent to pick out from the nearby underbrush to be hit in the legs/buttock area. I found this a couple weeks ago and it is my go to laugh at least once a day. The voice, the facial expressions, the timing, the material and the mannerisms.
It's like my motorcycle safety course instructor said on the subject of stupid questions, "If you ask a stupid question, we won't make fun of you, but we WILL tell the next class about it and have a laugh." That stuck with me through that whole course.

Dennis Regan is the funniest comic I've seen on Dry Bar Comedy.
I remember kindergarten. I was having a terrific time playing in the park and swimming in the pool and the next thing I knew I was sitting next to a bunch of goofy kids trying to stay awake because it was held during our normal nap time.
I even at 77 remember our teachers name--Mrs. Blackburn. She was very sweet but I remember one day when one of the kids had a rear-end accident and the smell was simply horrible. She walked up and down the aisle trying to determine who was the culprit but nobody was caught. So somebody went home that day and their Mom had to deal with the mess.
Thanksgivings at the Regan household would be a really good time!

They might be tired of American anti-intellectualism. Regan's whole schtick is to create a safe zone for idle, self-satisfied ignorance by poking fun at his own and eliciting laughs from others of his ilk. The laughs of his audience are charged with gratitude and relieved acknowledgement.

Exactly! I had a tutor. One on one instruction is the only thing that got me through math.
Can confirm. It happened to me in 4th grade with long division. Took me a week to catch up.
For reasons too long to explain, I skipped grade 10 math. Not because I was that good. Just circumstances. Grade 11 math was rather daunting for the first half.
