I don't know. The fully upgraded S.T.A.K.E has a firepower of 4500 and makes short work of every boss on Casual and Standard, and on Hardcore and Village of Shadows still does the job quite effectively.
This gun really doesn't need infinite ammo - the whole shtick is that it uses more common/cheaper sniper rifle ammo. Best to save money for STAKE or WCX.
thats what I love about all the RE games. Infinite weapons and Rocket Launchers. Capcom want us to speedrun their games. They enjoy watching us destroy them.
Yea i agree with u, but i think it's reasonable. Imo, it's because, if we look at this RE Village, there are many cutscenes to trigger during each boss fight (at least 3 cutscenes for each bossfight), so the boss can't really die before those cutscenes being triggered, no matter how many bullets u shot. Meanwhile in RE4, usually there is only 1 cutscene after the boss came out/entrance (and usually that cutscene only showing the boss death).
@@audryan27 now that you say it, it makes sense. I kinda remember now where I can't one-shot bosses like Chief Mendez, U3 and Krauser because they have more than one cutscene.

The wolfsbane is good but the STAKE is hands down the most powerful weapon in the game. That’s what I’ve been using to speed run village of the shadows difficulty.

The Handcannon uses somewhat cheap Sniper rounds that deals more damage than the normal magnum and act likes a sniper, so it’s pretty good for what’s it’s worth. The level context and atmosphere transition from home level to car flip then village to castle, you get a real re4 feel and I like the homage this game pays to it, respectfully. Dimitrescu and her daughters did lack development, depth--I want to know their stories, their backgrounds; where did they come from? Did they resist M. Miranda's indoctrination at first? Were any of the lycans possibly a noble that L. Dimitrescu dated? Also it would've been nice had the game been equipped with moments in which the player could come to decision whether or not to have empathy and understand where the antagonists came from and why they did what they did. And this goes for the doc, Heisenberg, Miranda, and other enemies. Still, a great game. 9.6/10 👍

The level context and atmosphere transition from home level to car flip then village to castle, you get a real re4 feel and I like the homage this game pays to it, respectfully.
Dimitrescu and her daughters did lack development, depth--I want to know their stories, their backgrounds; where did they come from? Did they resist M. Miranda's indoctrination at first? Were any of the lycans possibly a noble that L. Dimitrescu dated? Also it would've been nice had the game been equipped with moments in which the player could come to decision whether or not to have empathy and understand where the antagonists came from and why they did what they did. And this goes for the doc, Heisenberg, Miranda, and other enemies. Still, a great game. 9.6/10 👍
