It all looks weird to me, from how she wasn’t told about it before the show (as hosts always are) to the producers not cutting it. I think that’s exactly what happened.

This show should be canceled.
There is always that one toxic coworker that is given a pass after pass. Management allows them to be disruptive and unprofessional, and say, well you know he/she is. Until one day, the grits hit the pan, and they are forced to address that toxicity. This happens in the workplace all the time, and those who beg to differ, are probably the toxic coworker.
The trouble is the toxic co-worker is Sheryl and not Sharon, and Sheryl is still working for her racist employers. These racists stick together like glue...

This was an amazing social experiment. I don't have a dog in this fight, but it was amazing to see no one able to respond to the question, what did Piers say that was racist? No one could answer it, so both Piers and Sharon were fired because of an accusation of racism. Incredible. No charges, just the right accusation.

The Talk will go down the tubes. Sheryl Underwood asked unfair questions. And she never answered the question about what words used by Piers Morgan were racist. He does have a big ego and was not trusting of Meghan because she stood him up for an appointment, but that was all he referenced in regard to her honesty. Sheryl was ASSUMING his motive was racism but had no proof. So she asked Sharon how to address that some people felt he was. Last time I checked Sharon is not a psychic. The pike in by others attacking Sharon was their way as guest hosts of getting back into good graces with the network, which is appalling. Sharon apologized for getting so defensive. but she said noting to attack anyone. I agree with how Bill Maher saw it play out.

The media has focused wrongly on this heated discussion between Sheryl and Sharon. It has very little to do with their personal relationship. It has everything to do with combating racial insensitivity through honest and open discussion about race. Sadly, the world still does not seem ready to have that discussion. Thank you Ms. Underwood for bravely going where no Black woman has gone before! You have unlocked a door that we all must pass through on our way to Heaven. Kudos to you!
While I don't agree with how Sharon handle the situation, I understand why'd she be upset. She was ultimately called racist for saying Pier's has a right to his own opinion about Megan and we live in a time if you're called a racist, especially if your job is in media, it can completely damage your career because it's one of the worst things a person can be.

I tried to watch The Talk without Sharon but it is not the same and My friends feel the same. We are done with it. Disagreeing with someone is not racist. Color doesn't make a person alway correct. I do not agree one hundred percent with any color or shape or age at all times. I am not racist because I have my own mind. Too bad these companies are so afraid to be normal.
Im confused. Their coming across like they really had diffrent thoughts of how they wanted to behave and the only thing that stopped them was the fear of being stero typed and taking a chance of losing their job. In other words if they behaved the way the wanted too they thought it would be bad for them. By who? White people? So wouldnt or shouldn't that classify all the people you felt it would upset and have them view you as the angry black lady a racist? From the producers, the sponser's to the audience? And are they saying the way they wanted to act would be along the lines of how black women would normally handle what happened? In a way that is percieved by society as how black people behave? Maybe thats what racism is. People who behave in a manner that is usually associated to their race that others find offensive? The Talk threw Sharon under the bus. It did not align with our values, what a joke. I'll visit my mom and watch this with her and there were few times Cheryl would talk about men and what she would do or want to do that actually made me uncomfortable and i believe my mother also, what about that for value's. And Cheryl professes to be Jehovah Witness. Im a Christian and even understanding there a diffrence in belief with major position in our faith i know this is something she shouldnt be so bragful and proud of. It' s like Walking the same type rope. If i worked in a black business and had that mentality it would be called racism.
What was wrong was in the way she responded. And historically, if and when black women act like Sharon did that day, we as black women get called angry, aggressive, delusional, and out of hand. Same goes for black men.

Sharon did not handle this well at all with Sheryl, and Sheryl handled it perfectly on her end. But that said, I didn’t hear Piers say anything racist about Meghan either, he’s just an egomaniac who went on a “date” once with MM and felt he got ghosted once she met Harry.... Sharon was sticking up for her friend; was like, she knows he can be an ass, but that doesn’t mean he’s a racist ass, and she didn’t want to be tarred with the same brush as that. Unfortunately, her reaction to Sheryl looked extremely racist and that’s what did her in. I think she did that to Sheryl bc she was thinking Sheryl would take it, not like Elaine (? Welteroth), because Sheryl is often enough self-deprecating, so Sharon mistook that for weakness. It’s too bad, bc I liked Sharon and Sheryl by far the best on this show, just like on the View, Whoopi & Joy are my faves. They need someone dynamic & interesting to replace Sharon with now, because the others are nice, but imo I wouldn’t watch them, only Sheryl is appealing to me now on the Talk. 🤷🏼♀️

As Sharon's well deserved payoff proves, she didn't have a case to answer. The original show proves Sheryl is a back-stabbing, racist bully who Sharon thought was a friend - it's no wonder Sharon wouldn't work with her again having been called a racist by her - I would have nothing more to do with Sheryl either. CBS standing up for Sheryl also proves CBS are racist too, so shame on you CBS and shame on you Sheryl... Will never watch again. Sheryl has been tormenting Sharon just to the point where she knew when to stop. She wanted attention and she got it. Think it's going to come back to her and bite here in the ass. I think the show will not make it.

The trauma?!! In reviewing that episode what I saw was pure race-baiting on the part of Sheryl Underwood, and her trying to squirm her way out of it when she got called out by Sharon Osbourne. She wasn't being "composed" -- she was being busted! So spare me the victimhood!
Anyone who watched that episode and did not recognize that Sharon was totally out of line, has his/her own bias issues. Her behavior was a textbook demonstration of her "perceived" superiority and privilege. She yelled at, cursed at, and personally attacked her co-hosts of calling her racist ,when they did not. As with all "Karens", Sharon believed that ONLY she had the right to voice her opinion and that "right" was on her side. Also, her "apology" should be questioned as she tried to blame the producers instead of accepting that her behavior was totally unacceptable. Ratings might suffer; however, if Sharon would have come back, many people of color would have stopped watching. So, if you're going to lose ratings, it might as well be for supporting the dignity of your hosts.

The above is my question. As far as what went on, Sheryl presented herself very professionally unlike how Sharon did. I can see though why it upset Sharon and Piers (if they are not racist) which would mean that they just did not like what MM was saying. But deep down, we may never know for sure if it was all because they are racist. And if giving their opinions is because they are racist, then they are definitely wrong.
The big question is are they racist or were they just giving their opinion to defend their country? I just think they both made the situation much worse because they did not keep their cool as Sheryl did so beautifully.
