    Do you now use the holes, that used to be the top holes for the lugs, as the new bottom lug holes?

      Sometimes it does work out like that but not always.

      Drill new holes altogether. Sometimes you have to fill old holes, it just depends how much you lop off.

    This was the first result on my Google search "cut angle on drum shell", but this seems like the wrong way to do it. Rotating it by hand, really? How can you ensure a consistent angle?

    I made it 2 mins in w/ Pro Sennheiser Hd Phones.
    I heard you nervously fiddling with the shell pretty well. Were you talking too?

      Man,I have a 12"x10& 13"x11" toms that I would like to cut to 12"x8" & 13"x9".I wonder how much would it be to cut them down,do the bearing edges and lugs drills🤔
