Actually the Denji's line at 12:05 is not translated well enough to convey the humor of the scene (not because of the translator's skill but of the difference between Japanese and English). There Denji says "mou ikkai dakitee naa" in Japanese and off course the sentence means "I want to hug her again". But it can also mean "I want to make love with her again"! Aki must take the Denji's line as the latter, that's why he is surprised so much
I realized through this reaction(kinda rewatch of ep2) that i missed something when i watched ep2. Aki said,"I'll remember that" when Denji said,"If there's a devil I could be friends with, because I don't have any friends". And then later, Makima said He's (Aki) the one who put you together(with Power). That is really wholesome😅
Poor Aki. Sure he's quite rude and all but at least he had good reason as to why he doesn't like people who don't take things seriously, especially when it's hunting the very creatures that took away his family in the past. Too bad he ends up losing his nutsack thanks to Denji the Nut Devil 😆
I'm waiting for the time we get to see the trio just hanging out together. I love the found-family trope, and their moments together in the manga were really heartwarming! Specially the snowball fight!
As someone who read the manga a long while ago, I completely forgotten about the nut scene. I forgotten how fucking hilarious and equally brutal it was.

As a manga reader i felt this episode kinna rushed also they skipped muscle devil arc
maybe because it was a bit Disturbing or maybe they wanted to introduce Power & Aki in the same episode.
It would be rushed if they kept It in and had to fit more stuff later
They skipped it because it pretty much didn't matter in the overall story and introducing aki and power in the same episode made for better pacing.
