we was brilliant.. unlucky Pompey hope u guys do stay up much respect to u guys ur clubs been through the ringer like ours in recent years nice 2 see us both bounce back. Ur fans were on another level still singing in the 90th minute 4.0 down on a Friday night miles from home.... absolutely quality 👌 👏 👍
I'll admit I am worried after that dismal performance away at Derby, but we've got a weeks break now to dust ourselves off and go again but we must win against Coventry. Here's hoping if we get some decent enough talent in during January then we could improve our chances of staying up which I believe we will but we need those much needed changes in January. As always, Play Up Pompey. 🔹️🔷️🔵💙 #Pompey
Tonight's game was another shocker! McIntyre is not good enough as he makes so make mistakes. We're seriously lacking a proper backline. As much as I love Pack, I think he is struggling at this level now. We seriously miss Shaughnessy and lack fight in midfield. Plus, we need another striker as other than Bishop who's working his way back and Yengi, who's injured... who have we got?? We can stay up if the owner invests more in the squad in Jan.
We've had a really disappointing night away at Derby, the defense was all over the place and very little going forward as well, but 4/9 from the last three games is a decent enough return but we need a response against Coventry in just over a weeks time and the away form needs working on. The fans have been Pompey's best player tonight, PUP. 🔹️🔷️🔵💙 #Pompey
That was a poor performance away at Derby, we seemed to lack quality going forward, our defending at times was all over the place and Bishop got hardly any service at all up front. Just a shambles all round really. Time to get your cheque book out now Eisners and get some quality into the squad in January if you're really serious about staying up in the championship. It's over to you now.
Its amazing how quickly people forget after one (albeit dismal) loss, how well we have done over the past few weeks to claw our way out of the relegation zone. This squad as it is, is good enough to stay in the championship (but we obviously still need to strengthen certain areas). We went toe to toe with Leeds, Burnley, West Brom (ignore the score), Norwich, Middlesborough, Sheffield United etc. Our team has finally gelled and apart from last night have been putting in some great performances. Results are starting to go our way. The odd slip up is ok and to be expected. Oxford and Plymouth are as good as gone as far as I'm concerned, leaving one more place and we will not be in it.
I like McIntyre, but the stats don’t lie. Towler in, if Regan can’t make it next week. Also, Kamara is way off it. Saydee did well when he came on, but had little to no support from the midfielders. Strange night.
Back 4 of Pack (CM) Devlin (CM) Ogilvie and McIntyre is not Championship. No pace, out of position. Could have been worse than 4-0. Need Poole, Shaughnessy fit and half a dozen new players!
Macintyre is not up to it..ogilvie is no better..if the plan was not to play towler..why let raggett go..makes no sense..derby were worthy winners ..men against boys.
Need a midfielder boss like Adams, Derby seemed to win all 2nd balls, each of their goals came from different players, Bishop nullified and one chance from Murphy out on the wing. Derby spoon cottoned on that all Pompey play was through Murphy very little from the other wing. Do this crop of players deserve their supporters, 1700 travelling to alway games, Shame on them PUP⚓️
Some constructive criticism…… Seems to me the team and the staff may be finding it difficult to adapt to what’s happening in plain sight in front of them. Derby not your typical play it out from the back team so the new press we’ve adopted was never going to be as effective. Not clear why we weren’t able to recognise that and adjust accordingly. We seemed devoid of ideas to change the pattern of the game.
Not good enough from all parties. Fortunately we’re not far from the transfer window opening. A lot of changes needed across the board if we want to stay up
That was pretty bad. We looked leggy from the off. Defensively the positioning was poor on a number of occasions players getting too tight and getting turned inside out as a result. Horrible to watch. Yet Tuesday at home to Norwich none of those issues were apparent. May point to a lack of conditioning but in this case our set up was wrong too, hardly used the width at all.
What a bad day for Pompey back four woeful olgivie , McIntyre, Pack a joke we were so slow on the ball , what does Towler have to do to get a game can’t be no worse then this lot , saw JM and staff having a laugh on the touch line when we were 4-0 down maybe needs to have laugh with 1600 fans who wasted money supporting that shower of shit , need a proper manager with experience to get us out of trouble and new players in January PUP

so you are presuming that you will stay up then lol
@bornpompey2 play like we did tonight then yes... play like we did at Leeds no.. only as good as ur last result
Trust me you weren’t “brilliant” we’ve been beaten like that 3-4 times this season our under 15s would have won last night
If you want to stay up Mr.Eisner, you need to spend cash on quality in the January window! It’s in your hands…..

You had no right winger? This freed up Foz.
@@db0800 maybe we should invest in one in January. 👍🏻
To be fair I was expecting more from Pompey, but a good travelling support as it was on Sky TV too, good luck for rest of the season.👍🏼
Top 5 away support in the Championship. If it was a Saturday game would taken a lot more. PUP
Shambles. Nobody stuck with their man 😡 I think last seasons team would have done better!!!
Play up pompey ⚓
We need more stronger players at this level owners! Kamara came on and looked a very poor signing at this level

We lot a lot of goals in when McIntyre plays, just like Reading.

We are like the old Pompey teams in the second tier: decent at home, woeful away.
Again not for the first time this season it's one of them we are all taking the piss performances . Nothing more to add .
What's your take on it ? Huh . We're crap that's what , absolutely no idea this evening , men Vs boys . God help us .

You obviously haven't been watching the 4 or 5 games prior to last nights game. Ogilvie, Devlin and Pack have been absolute class recently.
After months of people saying “Kamara should start” shows why. So stop asking for it to happen
Ah shit here we go again 😅🤷🏻♂️

God I love this manager, but we really need something to happen in jan if we’re to stay up
We are like Jekyll & Hyde at the moment. Which Pompey is gonna turn up?
Bad habit of falling apart defensively after going behind.
Keep going . Last thing you want is Scum to drop and your not there.
What do you put it down to? A team out their depth with absolutely no fight or heart.
Oh, behave.
Out our depth ? We drew with Norwich and battered Bristol city. Derby were under pressure and needed the win.
That was pretty bad. We looked leggy from the off.

.. we need some killer players
The yard off. Is it due to a wider pitch. Derby 68m wide, Fratton is 66m. Just a thought
Sunday league manager needs to get into league 2. That’s his level
Why is he not fuming
He clearly is, wtf you on about?
We have enough good players. They are not being played in right combination. AND we need Saydee's grit in midfield for 90 mins.
