It was honestly so cool to see the Mario Party DS Anti Piracy videos get a spot in this mod, honestly pretty deserved considering it was such a good series! Little fun fact: Joey Perleoni (creator of the Mario Party DS Anti Piracy videos) actually worked on this mod! From what I know, he made the game over theme for this song. Another thing I found pretty cool is Juno (yes, Juno Songs) actually reprised his role of DJ Hallyboo for this mod which I honestly find pretty cool! One thing I gotta say is when you first play this song in the story mode- it was just so cool to see the team actually replicate the start up of Mario Party DS, it really brings me back (Mario Party DS happens to be my favorite Mario Party game). Now I'm not sure if it's this song or unbeatable that takes it as my favorite song in the mod....

I only did that with Stop because despite it being such a short word- I don't got enough time to write it with a mouse and quickly go back to my keyboard because the notes show up not long after the word appears LMFAO

Nah it ain't you, this mechanic just revolves around quick reflexes and if you hit enough notes for the accuracy of the drawing to not kill you- but scribbling does work as I did that with one of the letters due to notes appearing not long after the word Stop shows up

I used OBS to record my gameplays. I wanted to at least try writing the words because it seemed kinda lame to just scribble over it without effort. I only scribbled over Stop because I didn't have enough time to write it- the notes came in too quick for me lmao
Scribbling would be very helpful for "stop". It doesn't give you enough time to get back to the notes when you're trying to trace. I have a hard time FC'ing this because of the BS in the hotfix

The mechanic is really annoying, but it’s kinda fitting considering how finicky drawing words can be in the DS for certain games.

If the game window looks door like, its supposed to look like that. It's meant to replicate the DS. It's like that for me too, for this video all I did was put a background from Super Mario Sunshine so it doesn't look too bland with black borders. Unless you meant something else then I'm not entirely sure how to fix it-

you cant beat story mode.
how quickly closely are you tracing, and how well are you hitting the notes? you may need to sacrifice one aspect of tracing for the other, you might not be playing well enough to avoid being killed by the post-writing damage (writing doesn't prevent damage, it just lowers it to a survivable level). practicing writing with your mouse in an art program could also help if the issue is just the tracing in general

This song now sucks, only because the writting sistem is bullshit
I mean judging a song by an in-game mechanic is honestly pretty unfair. Like you can still listen to this song without having to play the game. It's like judging someone as a person because of who they main in Smash (unfortunately a surprising amount of people actually do this)

Istg even if the dogshit gimmick wasn't in this, the absolutely attrocious unreadable arrows make this genuinely one of the worst songs in any FNF mod that I've played in last 3 years

Yeah,the thing is that would deal 65% damage,meaning 1 wrong note is death.
Have a tip:
Watch a video on the song and see when you have to start playing notes,try to do it yourself and if you think you can't finish the word in time,sacrifice some letters for the notes,that's how I got through especially with "stop"
