just recently found your channel and cant stop watching. just letting you know your great and funny content reaches all types of audiences as I'm a teenage girl who loves history :)
You must have reached some kind of plateau with RUclips because this episode got hammered with ads, way more than I've ever seen here. Fun episode, even though it looked like you guys were struggling with the heat and humidity. Congrats to Charlie too!
💥💥💥💥@11:15 That's the first button he's held all year, without mentioning his "G.W" button. Pretty sure that makes the button unique on it's own. Make sure it's not better than a "G.W."
Awesome hunt guys goes to show that yas are true friends to be kind enough to get Charlie a Legend metal detector congrats to the ultimate winners looking forward to the next hunt God Bless and happy dirt fishing…Virgil
Rich in the first find had a rail picture hanger, it was just upside down and backwards. The decorative part faced forward. Cool old relics are always interesting! The toy gun and Morse code key were nice.
Appreciate the prize opportunity, like watching a live lottery! And thanks discussing the Legend numbers, tack, dime…40’s are hard to ignore. Cheers, good work
Funny you should mention likening the effort they put into the decoration of Victorian era objects. I can only agree. If you’re interested, you should look up the buildings they used to make for pumping water in that era in the UK.
Another great adventure. I thought you would have recovered older coins than the wheat cents. I think the winner of the day is Jason with his ornate draw pull. Well done all of you. Pete - down under detecting.
You guys have a great big heart, I'm sure Charlie was extremely happy and proud to receive such a wonderful gift from you guys, I was touched and teary-eyed when you gave it to him great going guys
Congratulations to the 🏆 winners! Great hunt and cool relics, but you have me itching to see the front yard footage! I bet your gonna love that Legend Charlie!
Excellent video guys, really like those cool odd looking relics Rich & Rich's IHP, and Doug's the toy gun. congrats to Charley on his new legend metal. detector.
This channel isn’t fave I watch you guys and Doug after work every week and you guys have Ultimate knowledge of stuff beginners like me need to learn thanks for all good hunts
The highlight of this episode, to me, happened before you even started digging when you gave Charlie the Legend detector- what a great gesture! Sounds like the coin finds will pick up significantly in the next part- already looking forward to it!
@10:11 The artefact is a drawer escutcheon plate. The two pegs with the holes in are for locating the actual drawer handle. 😀. HH from across the pond. 🙂.
Great Giveaway Guys. Congrats to all the winners. So cool all of you gave Charlie the Legend. Hope he finds some very old Silver and Gold Coins when he's in England. All the Victorian Relics and the Telegraph Piece are amazing. Love the Cow Bell and Wrist Watch. Nice Cap Gun find and Buttons also. Looking forward to the next video. Take Guys
Such a wonderful & generous gift to Charley ❤ Thank you J for another fun and interesting video. Great finds as always, I love the old relics. I will be back in August. Hope to see y’all again. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You guys are so fun to watch! Almost like "our gang" (the little rascals) all you need now is a bulldog👍😎👉🐶.(Just playing of course, meant to be humorous to anyone who remembers that old tv program.) All that aside, I really enjoy your videos, and the fact you've got several people searching at once, makes for a video that is more eventful, because with more people, the chances of finding treasures is more likely. But it's a lot of fun. I especially like it when you do the recaps, both at the end of the video, or, when it is at the end of a season, and all of you get to showcase your accumulated finds from all the digs of consecutive months. Also, because you're in the more Eastern part of the US.(from what I understand) early settlements allow for finds of centuries old coins, whereas in the Pacific Northwest states, where I am, you'd be lucky to find any coins in the 1800's here, but it does happen, and they're usually in very good condition. I think the absolute jackpot here in the west, is finding hidden gold and coin stashes (There have been 3 that I've heard of but I'm sure there's a few more). 2 were found in California, where someone just happened to find coffee type cans and/or mason jars, packed with late 1800-early 1900's gold and/or silver dollars, and in premium condition, worth millions. One score, was worth $11million, and the other, was (I think) $8.6million, but all were in the multiple millions. I'm guessing they were stashed to keep someone else from finding them, it could have been a bank heist or something like whoever had them needed trusted help moving that from one place to another, and because of the era, people may have either been shot and killed or died and no one knew to look, or someone was unable to find it to reclaim it or read a map wrong or something. But you can't help but wonder about whatever the history is, of coin or object, when you pull something out of the ground that has sat there undisturbed for decades upon decades, and the mystery and history of whatever is found, can be awesome and nothing short of amazing when the background of these items can give clues to their origins or history. Then to have it in your hand and see it with your eyes, is just, wow! Anyway, enough rambling from me, I really enjoy your videos. Detecting is one of the best and most enjoyable hobbies I can think of. Thanks for sharing your adventures, and happy hunting~!!⛏️🪣🪙💍💰 Subscriber from Oregon 💖👍😎🏞️🌄🌲⛰️
I love watching you guys, finding all those treasures I live Carlisle Ar. And I am retired and I want to start metal detecting, but I have to save some money, because it cost alot to get started. Thank you guys. I love yalls show. I watch It every day.
Great video and finds, guys! Congratulations, Charlie on your Legend, well deserved! Thanks Jason for doing that for Charlie. Keep up the awesome work, Quarter Hoarder crew!
DTD killing it on the old toys! P38 last week, and now a nice revolver... next week let's make it a old steam locomotive 😊. Congrats to the winners & Charlie. Well deserved.
Both of the copper coins seemed to have some damage to the outer portions of them, maybe someone had spread some ammonium nitrate spread at some point to green up the grass.
Y'all found some awesome stuff and Doug found a great memory cap gun I used to have so much fun with one excellent video thank you for sharing this six stars my friends
The "DeLa..." piece you found at 23:00 is part of the crank handle to a DeLaval Cream Separator. 1940's-ish. Found a DeLaval piece recently and knew that engraving. Cool finds!
Jason just started watching your videos and i can’t stop. I’ve been binge watching for days now. You guys look like your really having a great time. Just fyi, i know your color blind. My buddy got these glasses a couple years ago and loves them. EnChroma's patented lens technology makes colors visible so those with color blindness can see the vibrancy of reds and oranges, blues and purples or more vibrant greens. A recent study conducted by UIW reveals EnChroma glasses:
Jason, you can let the people that are giving you a hard time about gilt that you are actually correct and they are mistaken. Gilt relates to the type of plating process not the type of metal used. You can have gold gilt, silver gilt or even platinum or other metals that are "gilted" onto a surface of a different metal. Hopes this helps you my friend.
Righton Charlie! Good mates are priceless! All the very best of luck on this side of the Big Pond. We old-school British love our American cousins dearly. We remember all your valiant sacrifices for us. You saved our asses from fascism and the utter destruction of our Island Nations: twice; 'Lest we forget'. 😊🤟✊.
It may not be a Rolex, but it still a good quality watch
Quarter hoarder, you are hilarious, and I love your videos!
Thank you, that was me! No offense Rich, thought it was funny! Happy 4th everyone!
Well done, fellas! Charlie is such a great guy. Well deserved. 👏

Beautiful leftover buildings. Nice finds. Great commentary and just enough comedy thrown in. Good luck on your trip Charlie.
Agree, good balance
I just forgot, well done to Charlie on his new detector. A great gift from a great bunch of people.
Another fun video guys … I think Charlie is going to love The Legend, great detector. 💥
Thanks Brian… over the 4th, I’ve been trying it out. Love it.
That was such a deserving gift for Charlie! Ruins looks like a Summer Kitchen if there is a chimney. Cool coins guys and I love Doug's toy gun.
The large ruins did have a chimney at one time and thought possibly a summer kitchen too. I’ve just never seen one 2 stories high before.
@QuarterHoarder do you know what kind of finds bag rich uses? I’m super new and I’m trying to find a good finds bag.
Funny you should mention likening the effort they put into the decoration of Victorian era objects. I can only agree.
If you’re interested, you should look up the buildings they used to make for pumping water in that era in the UK.
"Anything on the other side?"
"The back..."

Looking forward to next week !
The neighbor is mowing his lawn good to prepare it for some friendly detectors.
Happy Independence day!
