BTW, in case u notice just how bad the in game audio is, The patch completely destroyed the audio system. I hope they fix it soon.

gotta say, the shot at 9:13 has gotta be one of your cleanest ive ever watched imo. yea flicks are cool and multikills feel good and all. but the way you predicted not only his movement but also exactly where his head is gonna be is so enticing to watch. all skill on that shot, zero luck involved. it really are the small things in life. makes me want to play again

I played Widow and Hanzo after the nerfs, all those long sightline maps that used to be widow maps are now unquestionably hanzo maps, and Widow is still fine on the tighter maps, even better when theres more places to hide. I still think her 12 second grapple cooldown needs to be lowered back to 10 to accommodate her closer range but all in all the 5 damage nerf is NOTHING, feels totally fine as a Sniper player.

@@auraskadante6273 nerfed hanzos storm arrow dmg by 5 and he can no longer one shot 250 hp heroes. widows effective range was lowered considerably

@@mexicanamiqo2405 many people found it frustratiing to play against, and besides. the onky dps that are 250 gp and above are mei, reaper and bastion so dont panick

Not like they're uncommon characters to encounter either.
So me having more skill than a reaper, enough to flick headshot him in close quarters, will no longer he rewarded with a kill. He will instead get to spray and pray me down with his shotguns, unless I luck out and he misses a bunch or I get a body shot.
And Mei is just the same kind of nightmare but a slower death, and has more survivability than reaper, plus she can contest at long ranges. Bastions not really a problem most times, until he hard focuses you with his turret form.
It's just an uncesssary nerf to hanzo. Makes it feel way less satisfying.

I have noticed that since the patch, I have been getting lots and lots of Hanzo's in my lobbies
I have been using the sonic trick since i saw it in the buffed hanzo vs bronzes jay3 video. I have been using it often but still cant manage to make most of it but im sure im gonna figure it out

Honestly I'd almost be fine with the mag name change, if instead of completely disabling movement abilities, it just interrupted active movement. As a semi-Doom main getting 3/4ths of your abilities completely shut down is even more painful than the old 130 damage nade ignoring power block.
Counter nano blade with grav. Same way you counter nano ram ult. Grav then the team runs away or focus fires.

Your videos demonstrate to me that Hanzo is easily one of the most mechanically sophisticated heroes in the game. There's so much nuance in every ability of his kit that most people don't notice! You make me wan to play this game just to master him as you have.
Legit I used to play over waych years ago played hanzo a bit not too much mainly maimed genji this was like 2017 stumbled across him on my recommended about 6 months ago so I hopped back on after years played hanzo watched what this guy did and instantly became insane I’m not even being cocky just from watching his videos I got hooked on the game again I only ever use hanzo too💀

Yeah, some rando who is a friend of someone on our core group was spouting off his opinions on the Hanzo changes, talking about how the charge time is different and how Hanzo is noticeably worse and I wanted to say- do you even play Hanzo? I didn't say it though lol.
Not necessarily true for rapid fire projectiles if you spray the probability field while laughing at them panicking.

I destroyed the enemy team so much as Hanzo that I made one of the enemy dps switch to Hanzo and they just kept chasing me.

The real change to the hanzo nerf is that mei and reaper players can now blame support for not healing them properly when they die after getting headshoted by the hanzo.
Hanzo needs to lose his One Shot Ability for the betterment of this game. It isnt fun to play against and if thats his only pro then its a poor character design.

When all suddenly we became so soft about getting one-shot in video games? All these years (2016-2022) Hanzo and Widow were the only One shot heroes that killed an 200 HP hero, Now it's your fault for ego-chow, a sniper or being in a bad position to get killed IMO. It's seems like the skill level in OW had dropped so bad, there are no skilled heroes to play anymore. You might as well have a bunch of Moria, Brigs, Sym, and Torb in this game and see who can win a fight.
Ever since OW released. Widow and Hanzo (and one shots in general) have been horribly complained about in a game based around objectives like OW.
OW2 only made it worse. I'm glad Widow is nuked out of existence, and I'm sad Hanzo didn't follow. Hopefully they keep touching him since they didn't address his source of frustration AT ALL.
@@ShiroNoFune In itself, nothing has changed, the source of frustration is the one shot. Widowmaker can still one shot you, just like Hanzo. The only difference is that one has to be closer, while the other can do it from Narnia. But in all honesty, killing someone from Narnia with Hanzo is a lot more complicated than it look like
Don't worry. If they truly remove Hanzo and Widow one-shots all the Widow and Hanzo mains will move to Ashe and Cassidy and the new complaint will become two-shots.
@@Ravitas3 Widowmaker has one clear weakness, and that's closing in to her. The nerf clearly accomplished that, as it is very dangerous for her to get into one shot range.
Hanzo, however, is not exclusively played as a sniper. He's also played as a flanker with one shot potential. In both of this situations, his one shot potential didn't get touched.
Hopefully they keep iterating on Hanzo as these nerfs did basically nothing.
