Part of what makes a player great in the NBA is discipline, and since he couldn't stay away from drugs, it makes me question his commitment to truly improve. Although Bird said that he would've retired early if Len hadn't died, so we probably would've missed out on some of the former's greatness during his twilight years, including being in The Dream Team. On the other hand, there was a belief that the Bulls were trying to get into a good draft position by limiting MJ's minutes in '86, but he refused to just lie down so he helped the team qualify for the postseason. Imagine Duncan, Wallace, and T-Mac for the next several years. The Lakers wouldn't have won another ring.

What if Dennis Rodman was traded to the Magic in 1993? They looked into it, but the Pistons wanted Dennis Scott, and the trade didn't happen. What if Chris Webber was traded from the Wizards to the Lakers in 1999 right after the lockout for Elden Campbell, Eddie Jones, and Nick Van Exel? Webber thought that was going to happen, but he was sent to the Kings instead.
A weird one I’ve always thought about, “What if Dennis Rodman stayed Lakers?” During the 99 season lockout crisis he joined the Lakers on the advice of his sister and players 23 games with them. It was brief but he did play with Kobe and Shaq for a bit which is pretty cool. Rodman later said he left cause of how serious Shaq and Kobe were and all their drama BS. But what if they made it work? Those 3 could have been a monster team, at least it would have been cool to see Rodman play in the 2000 season and get his 6th ring with LA. Man would’ve had amazing moments with 3 legendary teams. Real GOAT Résumé.
Heck, they may have won in 99 with Rodman (instead of SA), although Kurt Rambis would have stayed as coach in 1999-00 (more than likely). With Rambis, I see Rodman melting down if he comes back, and the Lakers don't repeat without Phil Jackson.

Pacers trading their pick for George Hill made a lot of sense and was still a good move. Paul George needed to be the primary ball handler to develop and also Lance Stephenson was iconic for the Pacers culture.
While it could be argued that the OKC young core would've not flourished into "better individual players" due to shared time and glory, especially the thought of the three of them winning MVPs in the same team, that team would've still been elite going forward. Harden, while possibly not producing MVP caliber numbers because of sharing the court with Durant and Westbrook, would most likely still flourish as an all-star, and the same goes for Westbrook.
If Jordan never retired those years from basketball the Rockets would still of won those back to back Championships. Hakeem was just too unstoppable those years even Jordan admits it.
He would have stayed with baseball. I believe he came back in March 1995 because he thought that the strike would continue, and that there would be replacement players (Jordan didn't want to be one of those).

Leonard might've not flourished into the player he is today if drafted by the Pacers. While his work ethic and physical gift are remarkable, he was always a 'yes guy' and was so passive. You'd think he's humble but let's be real, he has a quiet personality but that's not equivalent to humility. Not saying he's egotistical either but not egotistical doesn't necessarily mean humility as well. Let's say Jordan didn't retire. The thought that they might've won eight straight chips is so baffling that people act as if him being in the Bulls in 94-95 wouldn't have altered the league itself and not just the Bull's dominance. Let's say they've gotten five straight chips from 91 'till 95. Why the f would anyone think that the 96-98 seasons wouldn't have drastically changed? Also, the most plausible outcome is that the Bulls could've very well lost in 94 and 95, so nevermind drowning in fantasyland that even if they've gotten the chip 94-95 as well which is not even the likely outcome, it's also not likely that the 96 onward-treepeat (or should I say eight-straight championships since 94-95 is hypothetically won) would've been even more possible.
If I remember right I think he talked about it...something along the lines of he wanted to play that good 24/7 not quite sure so don't quote me on that. I never even thought about the 3 peat thing lol
The ‘what if’ that haunts me and other Spurs fans to this day is the 2013 finals. What if ray Allen doesn’t hit that 3 and the heat don’t force game 7? Do the Spurs go back to back? (honestly yes they probably do) does kawhi want out after the 2018 season? All these possibilities cuz of 1 clutch 3 in game 6 of the 2013 finals
If Popovich didn't take Duncan out for that possession, they would've won in '13. I don't think they would've repeated. The '13 loss fueled them, which was a big motivating factor in '14, & the Spurs (for whatever reason) were never able to repeat

I thought about something
Did Kobe change jersey numbers from 8 to 24 because he got a three peat or because he got x3 better
If I remember right I think he talked about it...something along the lines of he wanted to play that good 24/7 not quite sure so don't quote me on that. I never even thought about the 3 peat thing lol
It was his way of dueling with Jordan. All the other BS you here is just posturing lol
@@ellandecampbell6279 yeah. I hadn’t thought about that til I saw the video m rusty buckets put up about pop. We could be 6 time champs but pop had to insert himself into shit as usual
One more ring and maybe an actual fight between the two.
What If Sabonis Joined the NBA in 1986.
If Shaq and Kobe never split they would have been the greatest duo ever
They already are
the greatest duo literally always has and will be bob cousy and bill russell
What if Draymond was not suspended in 2016 finals
What if Rodman didn't party as much.
If Kobe and Shaq got along, well eventually one of them will still need to be traded due to the salary cap.
What if Klay and Kd was not injured in 2018-19 finals
