Laughed hard when you spoke to Alexi on the computer, I just absolutely enjoy your conversations while you are sharing and sewing. The positivity of your video projects are such a joy to me.
A proud cash carrying Aussie here, you can still use cash when technology fails and no one can restrict how you use it. Italy would suit me just fine 😂
As a quilter I have always been unable to cut a cutter quilt but I am happy to buy pieces of a quilt or items made with a quilt pieces. 😂. Thanks for all the inspiration. ❤❤❤
I still use cash sometimes. I do not debit tap but will use credit. I'm old school, do not have a cell phone.I don't want to conform to every technology, and it's quirks. Some people don't use proper language any more, just txt linguistics and can NOT do math. 😢 It's incredible how so much technology has made our brains lazy! I protect my brain from viruses!😅 l believe crafting and creating keeps me from sinking into the tech space too much. I would fit nicely in Italy! I love this project so far. Hope your fingers are OK.❤
I am so with you there I don’t like the debit app thing at all too many scammers out there too many people trying to get your money. I am so old school is ridiculous. I don’t even like to use PayPal because someone told me they get all your information all your banking information. I don’t need that headache.
Rachel I don't know why but watching this video has inspired me to make fully embroidered stitched on quilted pieces as journal covers. Of course I haven't got any old quilt pieces, they're so hard to find here in rural Vic, but I guess I could make some 'pieces' up then dirty them up for journal aesthetic.. mmm. Maybe it's just because we've just had the coldest snap in 5 years and quilts, embroidery and journal making is very enticing . TFS
Thank you, Rachel, for showing your progress with your vessel. It is so relaxing for me to watch and listen to you while we both working on our projects. 💕
Love your vessel. I still use cash. I prefer it. If the money is gone I dont spend. Haha I am still deciding the size of my vessel. But I am almost sure of the fabrics. Hahaha
Looking gorgeous Rachel. Naughty Juju for not telling you and Sarah when she was unwell. Glad she is back feeling herself again. It’s great that Lulu is feeling good about driving but the roads do sound a bit challenging for a beginner so good to take it slow. I look forward to seeing more of your material dreams materialise although hope they don’t disrupt your sleep too much! Cheers, Christine xx
We moved to Italy after living in Germany and I learned to drive originally in the States so I've driven all over! I found Italy to be the scariest! Italians pay no attention to the rules, the signage or even pedestrians! The Germans stop immediately and w precision every time! And drive at the speed of light! Had to be as careful of traffic behind me roaring up as much as the cars in front of me! Americans are in-between and it really depends on where you are there. Best wishes, LOL
Rachel, I love watching you. You encourage me to keep trying. I wonder if someone knows what kind of needle and what size it is that you are using on your vessel especially today, June 12?
I can't wait to start on my vessel. I'm going to be at my daughters cabin in the mountains for the last week in June and I'm gonna take everything that I need to sew a vessel similar to Sarah's. It will be probably be about three times the size of Sarah's because it's going to be in her living room on a large coffee table for them to hold electronics, phones, and TV controls in. Yours is looking fantastic
Really liking this vessel, it is looking lovely. Very happy for you with your new fabric line and glad it will be ongoing. I love stitching, actually weaving, journalling and art too but not enough hours in the day...oh well. Thanks again Rachel ❤
You indeed are not hopeless. If anybody’s hopeless it’s this old lady right here sitting on this couch watching you and not doing a thing with my hands.
Hi Rachel loving your vessel. I have made a number of vessels over the years all done by machine, so I am so looking forward to creating slow stitched one. ❤
Yes, I’d really like a chance to be able to order at least one set of three but they’re all sold out and if people are rebuying, I’m on here every day checking two and three times a day and they’re gone before I can blink my eyes that’s good for you, but they’re really is not good for me
