The first time I found one of those stone pencil holders I thought it was a flower frog too. Sure looks like one! Your videos are great - nice to watch another Canadian thrifter

The stone “flower frog” is actually a pencil holder, but of course you may use it as a frog. Quite clever.

Nice video. I’d leave the tables alone for awhile until you know exactly what you want to do. They can even be separated. Good find. Difficult to find small tables that don’t look heavy. The lilacs are gorgeous. We had 6 bushes when I grew up.put some long branches in your new black pot. Or faux white 15:41 hydrangeas! See you next week.

The flower frog is so unusual. I’ve never seen one made of marble, or stone. I really like the way it shows in the water, instead of seeing the stems. I’m definitely going to be looking for one like that now. Great find!

It’s a tooth brush holder. You see them in the thrift stores often - or at any home goods store, Target, Walmart etc.

The lilacs are gorgeous. I grew up in Ohio and my grandmother had a lilac bush next to her house. I miss them.

Living with LK just did a great video on how to upcycle your thrifted finds and I’m sure you know a lot of them but it’s a very handy lil guide. She mentions an almond wax and restore a finish and a few other things to restore wood you don’t want to strip. I wish I knew how to link it for you but that’s what I’d do since it’s a pretty color. You are quickly becoming one of my top creators that I get so excited to see a new video from. The jug looks great. I cannot wait to pull out some paint. I have so many jugs/pots that I want to redo. Some I bought specifically to make over. Some I purchased as dupes of high end ones that I caved and purchased the high end ones anyways so now I need to sell or change up the dupes. My daughter tells me I have a problem… lol. I really cannot believe I just found you. Also I’d give anything to have a couple good thrift stores near me. I have to drive a couple hours away. I could probably give up my high end purchases if I had anything but a couple of goodwills near me that rarely have a good find.

I think the stone piece is a pencil holder. It’s vintage likely and older than you 😉 It’s gorgeous though no matter what you use it for. Stopped in the middle of the video to say this so will keep watching 😂. But that crystal clock was a must!

Once you just clean those three stack tables and give them a light oil...they will probably match the leg color on your new couch exactly...just looking at the two finishes as you talk. Stack tables were used a lot for smaller spaces because you could obviously "unstack " them when needed and then return them to "the stack" when a party was over....and they would still look appropriate to a room and not look like wood T.V. trays....I'm 81 and my husband 83...so we've seen a lot of things in style then become antique and now coming back in style❤

Beautiful couch. Another lady on You Tube has a gold real leather sofa and her children were eating potatoes chips the night before while sitting on the couch. Unfortunately the some of the chips got left on the couch and the next day the oils or grease in the chips RUINED the real leather ("expensive" as she said, real leather sofa, and she hasn't found anything to take up the grease and asked people to let her know what will work😗😮😢
