It's easy to make people teary eyed through singing, it's easy to make people sad through an acting in a drama scene, but it's not easy to make people feel this emotional through dancing. All these girls did extremely well on expressing their emotion through dancing. I've been into kpop for more than 10 years now but I can say that this dance cover is on a different league of its own. A legendary one for sure.

Honestly it's not even biased to say this was singlehandedly the best performance the show has seen thus far, and is likely the deciding factor of almost half the final line up. The 'Avengers' name has been very popular on survival shows due to the legendary Bang Bang performance, and yet we've never seen anything come close to matching it. This performance did. Contemporary dance is a risk in a show like this, simply because expression in every aspect of the performance has to be *perfect* and the synergy the team must have is vital, and in a survival show where everyone needs to prove themselves to the audience, it can be too daunting to take the risk. This performance is what happens when you have nothing to lose; everyone in this performance (bar Moana) are all very high rankers and don't feel that level of desperation the lower ranks do, therefore they can just focus on rehearsal and perfecting the intricacy of the dance. Mark my words, most, if not all, will make it to the final episode, if not the final line up.

yujin is such an emotional genius and caring person, she made the concept and story for this dance with the underlying message of how heartbreaking it is to see your teammates and friends leave and how they hope they will one day unite again. it's portraying the whole emotional struggle troughout this show for all the trainees and yujin crying when talking about it broke my heart. this is so fitting and impactful for this show and i'm sure the judges kinda felt more pressure from the emotions after this. also all the trainees who left and are watching this performance must have felt emotional and touched. we need more of this kind of performances in kpop really. this is one of my favorite korean songs ever and i'm so thankful to may, yujin, yeseo, moana, suruiqi and xiaoting for making this one of the most memorable stage performances to date

Choi Yujin best girl literally. She never fails to amaze me and thinking about the ups and downs she herself had to face to become an idol yet she remain calm and kind. I'm so touched that she has such a wonderful heart.

It's easy to make people teary eyed through singing, it's easy to make people sad through an acting in a drama scene, but it's not easy to make people feel this emotional through dancing. All these girls did extremely well on expressing their emotion through dancing. I've been into kpop for more than 10 years now but I can say that this dance cover is on a different league of its own. A legendary one for sure.

Honestly it's not even biased to say this was singlehandedly the best performance the show has seen thus far, and is likely the deciding factor of almost half the final line up. The 'Avengers' name has been very popular on survival shows due to the legendary Bang Bang performance, and yet we've never seen anything come close to matching it. This performance did.
Contemporary dance is a risk in a show like this, simply because expression in every aspect of the performance has to be *perfect* and the synergy the team must have is vital, and in a survival show where everyone needs to prove themselves to the audience, it can be too daunting to take the risk.
This performance is what happens when you have nothing to lose; everyone in this performance (bar Moana) are all very high rankers and don't feel that level of desperation the lower ranks do, therefore they can just focus on rehearsal and perfecting the intricacy of the dance.
Mark my words, most, if not all, will make it to the final episode, if not the final line up.
oh look at that, half of them did make the final line up. I still stand that this performance solidified Yeseo into the lineup.

yujin is such an emotional genius and caring person, she made the concept and story for this dance with the underlying message of how heartbreaking it is to see your teammates and friends leave and how they hope they will one day unite again. it's portraying the whole emotional struggle troughout this show for all the trainees and yujin crying when talking about it broke my heart. this is so fitting and impactful for this show and i'm sure the judges kinda felt more pressure from the emotions after this. also all the trainees who left and are watching this performance must have felt emotional and touched. we need more of this kind of performances in kpop really.
