You absolutely have to be accurate in your balance and proportions for the hanging to look right.

Скажите, вы связали это панно? Бахрому насколько см укорачивали. Можно отрезки отрезать на 50 см короче. Например , где 300 см можно 250 см. Бахрома , наверное, 100 см.

Not Tom. I am his wife Gail. I am concerned why I had to cut 900 cm lengths when I only used about 1/2 of that. Seems like an aweful waste of cord not used.

The reason is that each company
has a different thickness of rope.
Even if the rope gets a little thicker
when you make a work,
the rope may not be enough.
And each person has different
strength to pull the cords.

Diamond pattern containing berry knot need a lot of rope.
The rope doesn't shrink consistently,
so we need enough rope.
