I love both primers. The Chanel one came to Australia a month ago so I picked it up. Not sure why brands release products in some countries and not in others. Great review.
Thank you, Sonia! The Chanel Rosy Beige is available in Canada. I bought two, just in case it does not become permanent. I like it for minimal makeup days, instead of as a primer. A little translucent powder over top is perfect.
I love it as a base product! My face looks brightened but in the best way. Usually, with chanel, LE is LE. I am sad i didn't get a backup secretly. Happy i got it even though its cost me a ton. Also, i included the CA link. So odd they skipped EU and US if theyre shipping to CA. Oh well. I am happy Canadians are enjoying the goodies
@@sonia.butler I can get you a backup for $50 CDN, which is what it costs online at my CDN retailers. Then shipping. I do not mind doing this for you at no cost, as I truly appreciate you and your channel.
Both products look lovely on you! Both look healthy, natural and radiant. Thanks for doing this video Sonia. Been wanting to try the Chantecaille rosy tint for a long time. Fingers crossed that Chanel expands their roll out of this product!
Chantecaille rose tint is beautiful and layers well underneath makeup. Its blurring as a primer but on its own a bit more luminous so less flattering. Iove it as an eye cream as well. But most agree that in this side by side chanel wins. Its ridiculous they didn't launch worldwide but Chanel can do whatever. Today the codes couleur will be available online in NL so wish me luck as i am gunning for 2 Mirrors and a brush set
Its nice to see so many europeans loving the same things as i do! I always wondered about the luxury beauty community in Europe! Thanks so much for your appreciation ❤️😍
Hello,my dear!I am very curious regarding the Chantecaille Rose Tint one...my question is: is there a strong rose scent?!That's what i read somewhere...thanks for your kind information!Have a great weekend!❤xoxo, Steffi
Hi Steffi! I find most Rose Scented products incredibly offensive. The By Terry CC cream comes to mind. Beautiful products but nauseating imo. With the chantecaille rose tint, you definitely smell the rose if you put your nose close to it. Personally, I dont smell it when opening or after application. At least the smell isn't too much that i think about it if that makes sense.I don't find it offensive, but it is there. If you hate rose scents with a passion, i would steer clear of this product. If you can get a sample anywhere.... i would recommend trying it. It's a very beautiful formulation, and i use it a lot. Takes forever to finish as well.
@sonia.butler Hello Sonia!😘Thanks for this long, nice, detailed answer...really appreciate it!❤️I really kind of hate strong rose scent, but if you say it's subtle and not overwhelming, I trust you...the result on the face is beyond gorgeous!!I love a light scented luxury product, but I will never understand, why they sometimes use fragrances that cause headaches etc.!The Gucci Bronzer e.g. is one of the best,if not the best, bronzers I ever used, but I can't stand the smell...same with the Guerlain meteorites...beautiful products as you said...but...have a great weekend, my dear!
@@stephaniepfaff3648 your trust means so much and makes me nervous hahaha but it’s honestly how I feel about the tints from chantecaille. I use both the bronze and rose tint on weekly basis. I am a big fan of their result❤️ I truly hope you will love it as much as I do. Also a great item to get on a sale or as a gift!
I'm in the U.S. and have both. Like you, I bought the Chanel Healthy Glow cream on a Hong Kong website, afraid it might not come to the U.S. I Paid more but I had to have it. Saw many reviews and each time I was convinced that I wanted the Chanel primer. I like them both and for different reasons. But if I had to choose one it would be Chanel. I have oily skin and large pores around my nose and I am honestly thinking of buying a backup of the Chanel one, it is that good.
Same same same same. Literally the same reasons for everything you are saying. It knocks chantecaille from its pedestal imo. Its so pore bluring i love it. It seems to be sold out everywhere. But if i can get my hands on it i will get anotjer one🙈
Beautiful review, i would love the Chanel but i live in Eu! Have you ever tried the Clarins Lisse Minute? it looks very similar to those products and has a beautiful blurring effect
Never tried lisse minute! Great suggestion. I love blurring primers. Although hestitant to fall in love with another brand 🤣 my wallet cannot afford it. I'll put it in my wish list for the future
Hi Sonia ! Right in time to make me craving about it 😅 I was already tempted but now I need one 😭 ! I even went out my way and ask the Chanel customer service : it will not be launched in EU not even in France 🇫🇷 ! What a shame 😅 But if through your connections you can get another one I will be happy to buy it from you ( I think we have Vinted here) 🤞🏻
Omg I am even considering getting a back up but i now see it’s sold out nearly everywhere. Maybe bon bon cosmetics but I have never purchased from them. So I don’t know how sketch it is 😖
@@sonia.butler Yes I am also afraid to order from a random seller/website 😬 If I manage to get one (I am going to ask a friend who is travelling in Korea this is how desperate I am 😅) would you like me to pick one for you ?
Me too! Its sooo good. I wear it on its own as well just to get poreless looking skin. I am very impressed. Hope they come out with this product permanently
Its mind blowing. Its such a great product. If they do launch here... i am getting a backup. Its the best primer i own! I dare say. At least in the pore blurring category
Dear Sonia, I want you to think long and hard about who you know who could have possibly been able to pick this Chanel product up for you in Australia??? If you'd like anymore, send me a message. You've got me interested in this now. I do prefer the Chanel on you, much less glow. Hope you made it through the terrible heat over there.😉 Just be careful and well hydrated. Take care, Kris.🇦🇺💖🕊
Hi Kris! Omg this primer is pretty amazing. I love it and I think you will too. I hope they will make this part of the permanent collection and not limited edition. If you can still get your hands on one I would suggest looking into it. Maria has a beautiful review which made me crave this product. I am still trying to find a good time to write back. It’s been a little hectic at work . I tend to stay away from this topic on my YT coz I wanna keep it light and fun. But sometimes I am feeling the wear and tear of life. I hope you are doing well! If I end up wanting a backup I know who to call. I tend to not buy backups coz of the size of my collection. Mulling it over coz I love this primer just as a base or underneath makeup
Maybe the chantecaille one is a good alternative! Its so odd they didnt make this available all over. Now its sold out everywhere! I am so gutted. I considered getting a second one.
We have the Chanel healthy glow cream in Canada and I love it so much that I bought a back up!!!🥰🇨🇦
I added the affiliate for the CA region! So odd they skipped the US and Europe? I had to get mine. I am actually sad i didnt get a backup
Such a useful comparison! I am so tempted to purchase a back-up of this, and I NEVER purchase back-ups! Looks absolutely stunning on you. 💕
Luckily I got my grubby little hands on this primer . Still in awe this isn’t launching in Europe or the US

Very odd they decided not to release this globally. I am so happy i got my little hands on this primer. I love it ❤️
