George Jones the best country singer ever lived , love him love him love him ...when i was younger i had a crush on him....he's getting up there now i seen him in concert 4 times the last going off in 2008 massey hall, and he didnt really seem to enjoy it anymore it was like nancy pushed him out on stage and said now go sing and make us some more money...he doesnt even play the guitar anymore.....i still love you George and allways will ...your biggest fan jen xo

The possum is one of the greatest country voices ever. So sad to see these greats not only leave us, but to see country music become nothing more that rehashed 60's rock. Willie Nelson has to be one of the greatest writers of all time and to hear so many do this song is a tribute to him. I love Brenda Lee's version as much as this one.
