A kitchen range and stove are interchangeable names for a kitchen appliance that offers a cooktop and an oven underneath. Some may offer different cooking options based on if they require a gas or electric hookup but can assist with baking, roasting, boiling, sauteing, and searing.
A standalone oven appliance differs from a range and stove because it does not offer a cooktop space. Instead, you can choose a wall oven for extra baking space in your kitchen.
