I love this cover. A cover isn't supposed to be identical to the original. It's an homage, something that the artist should try to keep in the spirit of the original but add something of themselves. Alejandro's voice is wonderful and it doesn't lose the essence that makes the original great. Keep up the great work, Boyce Avenue! Can't wait until you guys come back to Florida.

when Dave Matthews sings this song, he does it with passion, this song has a message, a meaning.
this cover has nothing. he sings very professional, but without any passion whatsoever, this song means nothing except few well played notes.

This is not a song just to sing, it’s not supposed to be perfectly sung like this one. This song it’s supposed to have intensity, feeling and imperfections, that’s what makes it perfect.

Great cover, but honestly Dave Matthews is untouchable when it comes to his song. His influxes and tone and the way he channels his lyrics is something a cover can never do justice. Loving the vocals either way though.

This guy is a decent guitar player and a good singer but he is really no more special than your average acoustic cover guy you see at the local Mexican place singing pop songs to college groupies. His voice is kinda flat and doesn't really have much punch or wow factor at all. His guitar playing is a bit spastic and his songs don't give off much emotion just very predictable and boring. Not impressive to trained ears. Also Dave Matthews is not a good musician for this dude to cover. Dave's music is so unique, earthy, and heartfelt which Boyce Avenue just does not have the talent to do justice to. No wonder he hasn't made it past youtube fame. Sorry to be an ass but it's the truth.

Quite alright. Music is very subjective and everyone is entitled to their opinion on what is good or not. I've seen most of his vids and that is my interpretation of his skill. Obviously he is an youtube sensation so othesr feel differently but there is always a good reason why people don't make it past youtube and it is because youtube vids are judged by untrained ears(no reference to you particularly).
