      I wouldn't use screen share with ClassIn - their built in browser and drive trump the screenshare for sure.

      @@onlineteacherdude1284 the built in drive is pretty cool indeed. But the built in browser only allows one tab so it’s pretty much useless for me. I mostly use games and curriculums that are interactive and in HTML format.

    I am considering Pearl, It allows for payments to be made and for parents to schedule lessons. The platform will allow up to 25 teachers so an independent could onboard others and run a 'school' or company with other teachers.

      @@marksesl If you are in the states... I would be willing to pay for the program- it actually does not stay on your computer. They will train both of us- and any additional teacher I onboard. I would agree to pay the entire monthly amount in exchange for assistance in starting a business- where I could onboard other teachers. Once I onboard others my thought was to charge them a percentage based on the monthly cost of the program and based upon the amount they make- if they had not taught enough students to make a partial living I would not charge them until they had enough students. I would not want to prevent them from making a living. Does that make sense? I just read the reviews- unless you deal w/ USD is a no go and it does not offer group classes. To get around that the tutor and students use it for payment /scheduling and then hop on Zoom or Google Meet. I will contact the company to see if they have upgraded the USD portion as well as the other downfall.. if you are interested, Mark. My offer still stands...

      @@shykat2218 I watched a video telling about the fees for Classin. The Pro version is about 75 cents per student per hour, with an upfront deposit of about $15 from which they deduct the fees. The Business version is actually only half the cost, but requires a much larger deposit of $350. Sounds like a good deal to me, Classin doesn't offer report cards. Report cards would be a very useful feature.

    Is Classin mostly beneficial in teaching children rather than adults? I get the feeling from the icons you used, this is all geared for children. Also, I understand that Classin and Koala Go which is also mentioned below are platforms for independent teachers who want their own business outside of other teaching platforms. But for a 'newbie' alot of the functions could be extremely helpful, even on 'ready made' teaching platforms. Is there any way to integrate these tools with other ready made platforms while I hone my skills? (hope this makes sense)

    • @onlineteacherdude1284
      @onlineteacherdude1284  Месяц назад +1

      I would actually say that Classin is most definitely suited for adults. Its a very simple blackboard with space for cameras and your lesson. It has lots of tools but you don't need to use any of them if you don't want to. Koala go is more geared towards kids but could also be used for adults. I don't know what you mean about integrating tools with other ready made platforms - do you mean with like zoom? I don't really understand sorry.

      @@onlineteacherdude1284 What I mean is could Classin be used on any of the other online platforms like Twenix? And I think Twenix and many other platforms use Zoom. Would some of these other platforms allow us to use tools like on Classin? Or is it only to be used if you have your own business and website? Thanks so much for your response!

    • @onlineteacherdude1284
      @onlineteacherdude1284  Месяц назад +1

      @@WeDidntExpectthis Oh ok, no, If you are working for a platform they have their own way to teach, so Twenix has its own platform. I think there might be some companies that let you use your own like zoom or something but 95% would have their own built in platform. Classin is mainly for your own business.

Can you tell me the price for the lowest level subscription? ....later...I just saw in another video that teachers are charged a certain amount per hour per person. Is that the way Classin works. @@onlineteacherdude1284 Thanks for the reply Tim. Yes, I just checked out Koala this week as well after watching your other video. It looks nice, back lacks a lot of basic functionality, like chat or uploading audio for example. One issue with ClassIn is that it doesn't seem to allow students to interact thru the shared browser, which Koala supports. To market to Chinese students specifically though, Classin seems like the no.1 option for now.
