Skinner Should have been the leading scorer for 9 mil
The fact he actually makes 9 is a bit embarrassing.
More than just "a bit" actually.
@@okyouknowwhatever Everyone knew Skinner's contract was not going to age well. He lucked out with the timing though, coming off a 40 goal season just before becoming an unrestricted free agent. Sabres were real short on offense at the time, so Skinner had a ton of leverage that summer.
So what, three guys talked on locker clean out day? Where is Girgensons? Why does he never speak? He’s been here for the whole drought.

Guys like Tuch & Dahlin would probably say “of course”, push back about how the question is insulting, etc. Jeff kinda just said “yea it’s nice I like the people and the community”, but losing for 5+ years probably makes anyone want to leave
Skinner doesn’t care about playoffs, he’s never played in them in 11 years, he doesn’t backcheck ever

Skinner should be in the minors
He has a full no movement clause, he can’t go to minors and he can’t be traded unless he agrees on the team he’s going to.

Can’t wait for next year. Hopefully the AHL player go back down and are replaced with real NHL level players. Definitely the least difficult team to play against in the league. Too many soft easily intimidated young players. Without a new gm there is lil hope.
Trade Peterka for Matt Martin? Quinn for Bob Probert? Give Greenway even more icetime? Try to win games 1-0
Which AHL players? Benson? He was one of our best this season despite being the freshly drafted rookie. Peterka? Kid nearly scored 30 goals this season and led the team in scoring most of the year, if not the whole year.
@@chrismdb5686 your idea of good is way they are bad. Benny had no business being in the nhl. Peterka improved but is not a top six. Name one player that can win a puck on the boards. All other teams have a guy on each line. Watch a game in the playoffs. Then count how many scoring chances come from winning pucks on the boards. Then watch. They all have a forward by the net. Sabres never have a guy in front because he is on the boards trying to help the other forward win a battle. Then they both lose the puck and it goes the other way. Just saying the team has talent but it’s all the same kind and it’s easy to play against. Makeup of the team is wrong. All on the gm.
