Inspired by the lore comments on Astray and Bewilderment I decided to do my own thing for Hydromania now For years humanity has been exploring the ocean. It's many secrets and mysteries. One of those mysteries was the Mariana Trench. One day, an organisation which name is left unknown, hired a blue haired individual, going by the name "Boyfriend". The organisation had enough technological power to go deeper and deeper into the Trench. Boyfriend was put into a special diving chamber. "Report anything unusual you find", those were Boyfriend's orders. Eventually, during the exploring of the Trench, Boyfriend saw an unusual creature. It was a tall, black humanoid. It was as if it was photo negative. Of course, Boyfriend reported the creature to the organisation who had communication with him at all time. Then the creature started speaking. "Hey, little guy. You're exploring, right? Working for that organisation, right?" Boyfriend was startled by the creature talking, but then replied. "Yeah, so? They said they're pulling me up in 10 minutes!" Boyfriend explained, still being somewhat afraid of the unknown life form. "10 minutes, huh? Say would you like to sing? With me and some of my friends" The entity said with a simple smile "Sing?.." Boyfriend asked, not believing his ears. An underwater creature from the deep wants to... Sing?.. Not kill him, but sing?.. "Yeah, sing. A simple song, y'know." "Alright, let's sing." Boyfriend said, putting on his underwater equipment and getting out of the diving chamber.
I did not realize this song was THIS good, it might be the best Dave and Bambi Fantrack and even slightly beats splitathon 1. I tried of thinking of something i dislike but i just enjoyed everything in this song. B-side supplanted bambi's part is so catchy that i've encountered myself unknowingly humming it. The Corniphobia bambi part is so nostalgic with it's instrumental and B-side expunged is referencing the spamtracks Maevings made ofc. The everyone part is SO GOOD omg and it's the best section of the song. Amazing job with this song! 10/10
