I am on my way. Each day that passes by reminds me that "I am on my way" to meet my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...Face to face! Thank God for the Holy Ghost.
I use to sin in a church choir and they used to sing and march like that to give God all the praise and it was so wonderful to sing in a choir and praise God that is the old Pentecostal church used to be
That's how we Marched every service at Cornerstone Institutional Baptist Church as well as the Southern California Community Choir, back in the day!!! I miss those days!!!!
I think this group is from California or the Contemporary Adult Division. I'm leaning towards CAD based on the ages and faces I see. In the past California has always done this March in. But I could be in error.
Looking happy is subjective. But the choir is huge. So, the back may not know what the front is doing. And the since the movement changed they may not have been able to synchronize their walking and singing. They went from marching to running. Try that in heels. And some were up and at it 6am.
It's because they went from Marching to running in. Sometimes you can't do both. And the size of the choir and hall might have precluded some from being able to focus.
Not that at all. The choir is voluntary. Nobody is being forced against their will. With that said the choir went from Marching to running in. Try that in some heels. And the night before (Saturday) there was a late night session. They had to be ready and out the door by 745am.
We need to go back to old school Baptist church
I miss church like this😢
I cry every time I hear this song. Thank you Lord Jesus!

This takes you back, remembering when Grandma use to sing and direct the choir!

@@yolandajohnson8685 this is not New Orleans, actually. This is either the group from California or the Contemporary Adult Division.
Why is half the choir singing and not looking happy.

You would have to experience a GMWA convention to understand. I miss it 😪
This is sweet, but confused why half the choir is not even singing.
It's because they went from Marching to running in. Sometimes you can't do both. And the size of the choir and hall might have precluded some from being able to focus.
The choir seem like they don't want to sing
I thought I was the only one noticed that. Where the altos part ? She tenors' part ? They looked good !

I'm sorry to say, we need weight watches.
