How much radiation are citizens exposed to when being scanned?

      Dear mr Lewinson,
Thank you for your question, however this vehicle is not meant to use to scan people. This vehicle is meant to scan trucks, containers and vehicles without people inside to detect contraband and narcotics. All people will be asked to step out of the vehicle before scanning. In case someone is ‘hidden’ inside one of these objects it is still hard to give a thorough reply to as this is depending on a lot of different factors like the distance, the time of scanning, the materials in between the scan vehicle and the scanned person.
The exact data from our supplies states: Dose to Cargo: Less than 0.1 μSv (0.01 mR) per scan, at an average speed of 5 kph (3 mph) at 1.1 m (3.5 ft) distance. Environmental/Operator Dose: Less than 1 μSv (0.1 mR) in any one hour
      Best regards.
