Hi, out of nowhere I got deactivated last Friday. I have not worked since January 28 but I continued to receive notifications of incentives and also I uploaded a photo of my insurance that is about to expire in March and I got a notification that they received it, but then last Friday I get THE text. I’m sure it is the generic text that everybody has been getting. I have also filled out the appeal form and I’m just going to wait. I certainly do not understand why I got deactivated. It's definitely not because of lack of use. I didn't use mine for 6 months last year and then could get back to doing deliveries with no problems. It's something with them deactivating drivers that have been delivering for a long time and also the verification system is flawed. I wish you the best. I'll keep seeing what I can do to get reactivated and then make a video on how to do that.

Before gigwebtech reactivated me I couldn't login and have was spending the entire day on the phone with Spark Support only to find out that I was removed because my profile picture has me wearing glasses but my driver license does not. In my state we are required to remove eyeglasses before the ID picture even if your license has a endorsement or requirement listed for corrective lenses.
My account was deactivated last week. I was on vacation and when i signed in i was deactivated. I spoke with support and explained that inwas out of town. 2 days later my account was restored. There should be a system to prevent innocent folks from being so easily deactivated.
Yeah I was deactivated for "suspicion of false information" on my proof of insurance, which is BS. I even re-submitted a new pic with the exact same insurance info and it was reviewed and accepted. They still denied my appeal and now I have requested a conference phone call, which is the last step to be taken before arbitration. I have yet to receive a text regarding the conference call and I will follow up in a couple of days. This is the worst customer service ever and drivers are not protected. Take this warning seriously. They got me 4 days into the job
I was deactivated on 10/16/23 during the identity verification process as well. Called immediately, sent the required email to the email address the support person gave me as well as completed the appeals form. I have called several times since, included today. Keep getting the same response that all I can do is wait to hear from the appeals team but that there is no way for the support agents or drivers to contact the appeals dept directly. There has to be someway to talk to a person who can actually help.
Dude this just happened to me. The same exact thing. Right after I already lost my best friend of 10 years, went through a break-up, and was in a accident that left my car totaled when some lady hit me. Same happened to me in October. I finally got reactivated 01/12/2024. After appealing 4 times, and sending a letter for pre-arbitration. I finally got a call where they asked me to scan my license and scan my face

I immediately got an e-mail back saying they will call me within 30-45 days after the request. It's only been about five days so far. Still nothing else. Im a stay at home mom and depended on this little extra income. The night I was deactivated I had just recieved my first incentive and 15 mins later deactivated. I work in a school system school have ended in May 24 of 2024. I decided to do the Spark. I was doing well with it. I have been driving about two weeks they sent me a text message saying they couldn’t see my insurance and I needed to upload another one. I told her I had gotten deactivated she said no you are still active.... Call them and tell them or ask why you were deactivated I'm very sure it's a glitch going on. I got the activated the same day I signed up, I went through all the training videos and the same day as was getting ready to go and do my first pick up tryout this new gig, I see that the account is deactivated, I’m on week 3, of waiting for response, no answer yet. I don't think it has anything to do with my lifestyle or the videos I make. It was working fine until the selfie check and then I was immediately deactivated after the check. I think it's cause I blinked because the front flash took me by surprise and I couldn't retake the picture

@@Yphrumyou should just steal from Walmart as long as you keep the one time total under $50 and your yearly total under $500 (at least in my state) they have a no prosecution policy. Statute of limitations for misdemeanors petty theft in most states is 6 months to 1 year so once it’s been over a year you can then hit all the stores again in the same order you did before. Just don’t park in the main lot where cameras can see your plate and wear a mask and different outfits every time they will never catch you

I have been deactivated since Sept. of 2024. I as well didnt pass the verification id process. It had just started in my area when this happened. I have not heard back about my appeal still. I have tried calling them again on several occasions and now they tell me they cant find me in their system but I cant start a new account
I’m a 69 year old disabled Veteran. Have been doing Spark since September 2023. Last week while Vacationing in Puerto Rico with my wife I checked the App. It asked for a facial Recognition. Did that and my account was deactivated. They denied my appeal.
Happened to me while on vacation in Mexico City Mexico. First, they said app manipulating because my ip address was out of Mexico (well yea I was on vacation). Next, during arbitration telephonic dispute resolution conference, they said sharing account. How the hell is that possible if my account shows no deliveries made and everything was from my Samsung phone. Ive now sent a formal letter to walmart lawyers with my flight itinerary and account. Honestly, is it really worth it to reactivate your account? I'm finding myself declining 99% of the orders in my market because they don't really make sense. The miles to pay ratio is just not worth moving my car. Luckily I have a good paying W2 that keeps me from being desperate but I dont believe these orders are sustainable or worth even logging in.

The same thing happened to me earlier today. Prior to being deactivated, every two days the app would ask for a picture of the front and back of my driver's license, but not the selfie. I only did the selfie my very first time Sparking, and after that it only asked for photos of my license. The app normally says 'can't verify photos' after I take photos of my license multiple times, then a few minutes later I get a message on the app saying 'your photos have been approved'. I have told customer support about this multiple times and I know it's an issue on their end. My driver's license is 100% up to date and doesn't expire until 2031, my insurance is up to date, and I don't have any felonies or anything on my record. Today I was able to do one delivery, and went back to Walmart to wait to do another after I finished the first one and that's when I get the 'your account has been deactivated' message. I was completely livid. It's my only source of income and now I am honestly well and truly fucked. I put in an appeal explaining what happened so hopefully something comes out of that.

Believe it or not, they will not return any emails or calls. I was fired last February 2023 without any info at all. But today almost a year later, my app just started back up and I did the ID check and it is allowing me to Spark. Ow. I called customer service and they don’t have my Number or Account info at all. If anyone gets to see this, there’s an email address where you can request an arbitration phone conference. Detail the facts, provide any evidence you have. I did this within an hour on a deactivation for TOS, Walmart associate scanned the wrong barcode on a laptop and it flagged that I had personal items in my cart, which I didn’t. I was, fortunately turned on within 48 hours

My account got deactivated when I delivered alcohol to a bar and the owner that made the order was not there. Since I could not scan the id, Spark closed out the order. The next day, I was deactivated. I emailed them and waited 3 months to get a text from Spark saying the decision to deactivate remains. At least I still have Door Dash.

Hey brother. I was just deactivated today from Spark. I have no idea why. I have an idea why, I made a delivery late due to a flat tire. I didn’t tell Spark but I didn’t think it would be a problem. Don't lose hope?? I was deactivated 3 weeks ago for "failing to contact customers before initiating returns" ... Problem is, I never made any returns!!! Literally never made a return. Contact support it's the verification it can take up to 2 weeks I got deactivated with no reason but only got a not delivered as a notification hours later it's common.
I went on vacation to Costa Rica and the day before I returned I wanted to check out my stats for the 1 day I got to work. I did not know or read anywhere in the FAQs that opening the app in another country would be cause for deactivation
You would have to hire the arbitrator pursuant to your state laws. They will most likely reactivate you if you do this, BUT, they can find a reason later and you’re back at square one. Also an arbitrator charges 600-1000 per hour.

I had this happen also regarding not being able to verify due to the app not effectively processing my photo. How can they do this for something that isn't the fault of a driver. I am attempting to take a photo of myself to verify myself! This takes away my ability to make money for something that isn't justified. When I called, they gave me the appeal run around and explained how the information relevant to my deactivation was personal. I barely used Walmart Spark but it is something you hold on to for a backup. I just chipped in $7. Walmart must provide answers.

It's definitely not because of lack of use. I didn't use mine for 6 months last year and then could get back to doing deliveries with no problems. It's something with them deactivating drivers that have been delivering for a long time and also the verification system is flawed. I wish you the best. I'll keep seeing what I can do to get reactivated and then make a video on how to do that.

My fiancé was deactivated April 3rd for the same thing you was deactivated for with the drivers license issue she sent in 3 deactivation appeals and requested pre-arbitration phone conference and after 40 days she heard back from the arbitration department who only took her statement then told her she would her a decision in 5 business days and then on the 8th business day she was told her deactivation remains
Before gigwebtech reactivated me I couldn't login and have was spending the entire day on the phone with Spark Support only to find out that I was removed because my profile picture has me wearing glasses but my driver license does not. In my state we are required to remove eyeglasses before the ID picture even if your license has a endorsement or requirement listed for corrective lenses.
My account was deactivated last week. I was on vacation and when i signed in i was deactivated. I spoke with support and explained that inwas out of town. 2 days later my account was restored. There should be a system to prevent innocent folks from being so easily deactivated.

Yeah I was deactivated for "suspicion of false information" on my proof of insurance, which is BS. I even re-submitted a new pic with the exact same insurance info and it was reviewed and accepted. They still denied my appeal and now I have requested a conference phone call, which is the last step to be taken before arbitration. I have yet to receive a text regarding the conference call and I will follow up in a couple of days. This is the worst customer service ever and drivers are not protected. Take this warning seriously. They got me 4 days into the job

I was deactivated on 10/16/23 during the identity verification process as well. Called immediately, sent the required email to the email address the support person gave me as well as completed the appeals form. I have called several times since, included today. Keep getting the same response that all I can do is wait to hear from the appeals team but that there is no way for the support agents or drivers to contact the appeals dept directly. There has to be someway to talk to a person who can actually help.

Right after I already lost my best friend of 10 years, went through a break-up, and was in a accident that left my car totaled when some lady hit me. I sent an e-mail asking for the conference. I immediately got an e-mail back saying they will call me within 30-45 days after the request. It's only been about five days so far. Still nothing else. You can file the appeal from the FAQ link under your deactivation notice on the app's page.
I lost my account in September. Due to the verification process. It’s almost January and still no account. I lost my job just before Christmas. I need this account back more and more everyday. I’ve called spark,ddi, filled out the form and everything in between.

Im a stay at home mom and depended on this little extra income. The night I was deactivated I had just recieved my first incentive and 15 mins later deactivated. I got the activated the same day I signed up, I went through all the training videos and the same day as was getting ready to go and do my first pick up tryout this new gig, I see that the account is deactivated, I’m on week 3, of waiting for response, no answer yet. @@Yphrumyou should just steal from Walmart as long as you keep the one time total under $50 and your yearly total under $500 (at least in my state) they have a no prosecution policy. Statute of limitations for misdemeanors petty theft in most states is 6 months to 1 year so once it’s been over a year you can then hit all the stores again in the same order you did before. Just don’t park in the main lot where cameras can see your plate and wear a mask and different outfits every time they will never catch you

I have been deactivated since Sept. of 2024. I as well didnt pass the verification id process. It had just started in my area when this happened. I have not heard back about my appeal still. Happened to me while on vacation in Mexico City Mexico. First, they said app manipulating because my ip address was out of Mexico (well yea I was on vacation). Next, during arbitration telephonic dispute resolution conference, they said sharing account. How the hell is that possible if my account shows no deliveries made and everything was from my Samsung phone. Ive now sent a formal letter to walmart lawyers with my flight itinerary and account. Honestly, is it really worth it to reactivate your account? I'm finding myself declining 99% of the orders in my market because they don't really make sense. The miles to pay ratio is just not worth moving my car. Luckily I have a good paying W2 that keeps me from being desperate but I dont believe these orders are sustainable or worth even logging in.

The same thing happened to me earlier today. Prior to being deactivated, every two days the app would ask for a picture of the front and back of my driver's license, but not the selfie. I only did the selfie my very first time Sparking, and after that it only asked for photos of my license. The app normally says 'can't verify photos' after I take photos of my license multiple times, then a few minutes later I get a message on the app saying 'your photos have been approved'. I have told customer support about this multiple times and I know it's an issue on their end. My driver's license is 100% up to date and doesn't expire until 2031, my insurance is up to date, and I don't have any felonies or anything on my record. Today I was able to do one delivery, and went back to Walmart to wait to do another after I finished the first one and that's when I get the 'your account has been deactivated' message. I was completely livid. It's my only source of income and now I am honestly well and truly fucked. I put in an appeal explaining what happened so hopefully something comes out of that.

Believe it or not, they will not return any emails or calls. I was fired last February 2023 without any info at all. But today almost a year later, my app just started back up and I did the ID check and it is allowing me to Spark. Ow. I called customer service and they don’t have my Number or Account info at all. If anyone gets to see this, there’s an email address where you can request an arbitration phone conference. Detail the facts, provide any evidence you have. I did this within an hour on a deactivation for TOS, Walmart associate scanned the wrong barcode on a laptop and it flagged that I had personal items in my cart, which I didn’t. I was, fortunately turned on within 48 hours

My account got deactivated when I delivered alcohol to a bar and the owner that made the order was not there. Since I could not scan the id, Spark closed out the order. The next day, I was deactivated. I emailed them and waited 3 months to get a text from Spark saying the decision to deactivate remains. At least I still have Door Dash.

Contact support it's the verification it can take up to 2 weeks I got deactivated with no reason but only got a not delivered as a notification hours later it's common.

I went on vacation to Costa Rica and the day before I returned I wanted to check out my stats for the 1 day I got to work. I did not know or read anywhere in the FAQs that opening the app in another country would be cause for deactivation
You would have to hire the arbitrator pursuant to your state laws. They will most likely reactivate you if you do this, BUT, they can find a reason later and you’re back at square one. Also an arbitrator charges 600-1000 per hour.

I had this happen also regarding not being able to verify due to the app not effectively processing my photo. How can they do this for something that isn't the fault of a driver. Day after mines got deactivated because insurance thing is my insurance and license everything is current they order these reports every few weeks to do background checks on us drivers it’s called checkr and it tells them all your information about your license and insurance and reports of criminal offense everything on my report came back clear they do this to every app instacart DoorDash every gig app

When I called, they gave me the appeal run around and explained how the information relevant to my deactivation was personal. My thoughts were , bitch you did it , so just divulge the info as opposed to presenting this fake scenario as to avoid being forthright. I don’t get it however besides this post, I could care less. For Spark i'm not sure. For other apps I think inactivity but I've gotten a few of them back.

Wow!! they deactivated me Nov 17th right after i uploaded my new insurance card. I had to upload it 5 times because they said they couldn't see the various info on it. But clearly all information is on the card but they said otherwise. Eventually it said Fraudulent activity and deactivated my account. Its a mess with no clear resolve

Same has happened to me it going on 3 weeks for no reason I have called every week
I will say the same thing happened to me and they sent me to the portal and said this happened because my insurance that I had on file had expired and I needed to update my insurance so try that and then let us know
That's fine on my account through DDIwork.com. I checked and they have my insurance automatically with my new policy that expires in May 2024
