Even though some people called it coming from the Showa-era, Showa has already handed over the empire reigns to Heisei in January 8 following his passing. This already launched the Heisei-era.
Kuromi, Baku, Melody's little brother, Flat, Piano and other friends in My Melody's World didn’t exist yet only her Mom, herself, and My Melody's gramma. Kuromi didn’t come in the year till RUclips was born Kuromi's first appearance was the same year RUclips first launched 2005. Of course I only came here since this evolves My Melody Characters and not Hello Kitty. Which My Melody’s series is to save for best. It’s so cool going back now seeing that Kuromi's TV Show is going first in English dub from the Melody Series maybe My Melody’s will in the future for a English dub a few months or years later…
I'm shocked to why My Melo gets fingers, but then turn to normal at 2:28 till 2:36 like her feet matches with her finger-less hands like Hello Kitty's and then she has fingers, again that's disappointingly weird?! And then she has fingers all the time in the story, but she had no toes, I thought My Melo supposed to all the time has like mitten shaped hands as in the new one, but the bad wolf has toes!

Many anime and games that came in the period of 1999-2013 especially, failed miserably to be as good as this masterpiece, they even get outclassed and ashamed without even noticing!
I ripped it from Amazon Prime JP. And yes there's quite a few more I have from this specific series remastered such as some Hello Kitty episodes, a kiki and lala episode and a couple keroppi episodes.

Rhythm-kun, Flat, and Piano (then known as just "Hitsuji-san") did exist back then, they just weren't featured in this anime.
