Ukraine isn't a democracy. Far from it. In democracies there is more than one TV Channel, main political parties and main Christian denominations aren't banned, no mass extrajudicial killings, disappearances and torture, men from 18 to 60 aren't banned from leaving the country, people aren't rounded up in the streets and dragged to their death. Democracies hold elections after all. Well, it's a quote from The Time article. Zelenskyy top advisers say about him: “He deludes himself, ” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that. It is immovable, verging on the messianic.” According to the Economist Zelenskyy is literally screaming at his generals at this point. One Austrian artist was in a similar state in 1945 . Zelenskyy "achievements" to date: 790,000 Ukrainians are dead, 3x that mangled and crippled for life, half of Ukraine's population is living as refugees scattered all over Europe and Russia right now, they're drafting women because they've run out of men to kidnap off the streets. NYT wrote about these mass kidnappings that were happening only in Zelenskyy Ukraine and Hitler's Germany in 1945 in an article ‘People Snatchers’. According to Zelenskyy latest statement only joining NATO or nukes can save his hide. These are lunatic ramblings of a desperate dictator before the imminent collapse of the regime.
This is what the United States government wants for us !! They have their eyes set on Taiwan next , just to try and destroy the Chinese threat over their hegemony
Most of the things you’ve stated are historically common for democracies at war. Why are you acting like civil liberties aren’t commonly suspended during war? You can argue that they should have rolled over and been puppeted like Belarus but to half this stuff is just standard wartime measures that are disengenuine to critique
@@badart3204 Bud, Ukraine wasnt a democracy even before 2022. I mean we have videos about their voting system. Militias that are famous in this conflict, blocking voting areas until they vote the way they want. etc. etc.
One of my Ukrainian friends asked his commander in army a permission to meet his family in Germany during his vacation and after that he didn't return to Ukraine. He was not afraid of russians torturing him in captivity but it just was much safer and simpler to desert than to surrender.
Deserters are mostly those that are lost in battle, but Ukraine is reluctant to admit the casualty numbers . They had 3 mobilisations during SMO. Why now another ?
You heard that from 1945 until 1956 Soviets fought the Banderites. 250000 died. Most were taken to Siberia, and after a few years, they were released by Chrushchew(Ukrainian) , than president of USSR

It's when it's obvious that there is no point in fighting further... certainly since BEFORE the Summer 2023 offensive.
Why die?
It's not his war
They getting their ass handed to them that's what is happening
Yup, even AFTER setting themselves up to HAVE AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE!
I totally agree with Dad. We're not going to see any sudden collapse, just a gradual crumbling.
Putin is risk adverse. How very true. He is always careful when he does anything.
WHEN the opposition in the West is Psychotic....
He does not mindlessly waste his soldiers like the notsees do.
Excellent commentary. Thank you!

What brifge and what country?

The ship was registered in Ukraine, but the entire crew was made up of Indians. Ukraine does enough bad without you making up lies!
