Tonight I was frustrated with trying to reorganize my washi tape & some other craft supplies to make things work with a cart. Finally decided to search for ideas & here was yours! Ingenious simplicity & definitely still helpful 2 years after you posted this!! Thank you!!
Made these years ago as welI 😉… I have four full ones (I have way more washi in baskets lol), I decorated the outsides of the boxes. (Picture on my studio storage on Pinterest)
Fun idea! But I would need numerous boxes… instead I took an older style wire coat hanger, reshaped it to a circle, bending the ends to connect. I threaded the rolls onto it and hung it up. Now I can see the whole collection at once, and just move them around to ease the one I want off!
So glad you shared this! I have been wondering where to store my washi tape when I move it out of the handy little cabinet it currently lives in to make way for my growing number of distress oxides. You just gave me the perfect solution!
I have seen an online store that has created these boxes for embroidery stabilizer as well and I was thinking I could do this myself and you have shown that as well. Why pay $17 for a pretty box when we can recycle our foil boxes. Have an amazing day and thanks 😊

You are so welcome!
I was wondering what if a wooden dowl would work? They come in so many sizes.
Now I know why I keep my empty foil boxes!! Awesome idea!!❤️

Pure genius!
great idea. I heat gun the rolls that won't come off roll. never had a roll that didn't stick yet but I sometimes glue it down in my memory layouts
Great idea! I’m going to use it.
Absolutely great idea. I’m going to do this as soon as I have an empty parchment paper box. Thanks so much for sharing.
