Shakira's dancing is so much nicer and more relaxed in comparison to who's around her. I mean hey it is the super bowl so I'd probably be nervous too with the amount of people watching, and they all did a very good job 👏. Though she's doing the same routine, her being more relaxed gave her take on the choreography more gravity
African beats have a huge influence in Latin music, from “El Sebastian” (the campera song that Shakira danced) to the very basic Clave of salsa. Mamá Africa is always in our Latin hearts
El Sebastian ? The issue with "champeta" is that you guys sample or steal without giving credits and change the name of songs and then pretend you created them. This is insane 🤦🏾♀️ And then say "it's inspired by African music" no it's not These are literally preexisting African songs

If they know that they sing it in another language, it is obvious that it is not called what they think. I am from Colombia and I always have to see that, the ignorance is so serious that the songs of soukous and other African genres that arrived, they all changed their names to names in Spanish, that was 40 years ago, but today the vast majority believe that that's the real name. Even the champeta singers put their chests out as a sign of pride for Shakira's dance, saying that "he raised the champeta and Colombia" high for dancing "Icha", when the song is actually Congolese and not from here, the fact that that we feel their music as our own does not give those ignorant the right to claim pride entirely for ourselves.
