That guy is also KSI manager, If you listen to the full Podcast he says how hes the one who forced Eddie Hearn to promote KSI vs Logan 2 and Logans team wasn't even doing anything because they didn't know how. Mad respect to him as I don't think many people know who was behind all this
Yeah and without him the whole KSI vs Logan Paul franchise wouldn't have been done, cause when KSI and Logan agreed to fight eachother, Logans team was sleeping not doing shit and it almost fell apart
There's also a Jaackmate podcast with JJ's promoter for both KSI v Logan fights and he was basically saying the same thing, the Paul's team couldn't tell their ass from their elbow and he had to basically set the whole thing up including the press conferences.

I already knew this event would be a flop with the pricing of the event and the age group that it was targeted to. No one is paying that much for a RUclips boxing event especially when both KSI vs Logan Pauls was WAY cheaper
They held it the same night as top rank and ufc cards, the timing was absolutely atrocious
One of the big reasons why the first KSI vs Logan Paul event did so well was because of the pricing of the PPV, the PPV was available on RUclips for only 10 dollars. And the promotion companies didn't guarantee massive purses to the fighters that they foolishly thought they could make up. Social Crooks and Austin McBroom should've taken KSI vs Logan Paul 1 as an example instead of the monstrosity that they put forth.
I think we have learned that TikTok followers is the same than RUclips followers.

The marketing for this event was just horrible, like if KSI and logan paul two big creators who were dominating the youtube space had a hard time selling $10 PPV what were these guys thinking
@@dyceonice it is when you have to pay all that money to the fighters, workers and investors. They make waaaaaaaay more money doing RUclips and other things like merch and shows. For us, maybe that’s not a hard time, but it is for them, when it costs millions to put on the event.

Jake and Logan called this months prior to the event. Jake said that Austin's team approached him and wanted to make him the main event of the card and Jake declined. Logan said the event might not even happen because Austin's numbers were so off. There was no way Austin could pay the fighters what they were told they were getting.
They also told Danny Duncan to get his money upfront and they wouldn't do that so he dropped out.
That’s probably a smart move on jakes behalf. Not just because it was a scam, but Jake is trying to market himself as a real boxer, or at least someone who’s trying to be, and he is making his way there. To do that though he really needs to dissociate from the RUclips scene and fight real athletes. A card like that is the last thing Jake should do as a career tactic.

I think prison is his next move...and it's so sad to see fighters continously get bent over...no everyone is capable of doing so, but if you can, managing yourself is the way to do it....keep you gym and training team close, but dig into the finer details yourself so you, the fighter, know where every penny is coming from and going to. This sport is too relentless and unforgiving to not get paid. That's why I skipped the whole amature part. My heart aches for these guys, y'all are in my prayers.

Another interesting thing Gibs manager said was how Jake definitely doesn't earn as much as he says he does, which is why he moved to showtime and could be the reason he's "retired" from boxing as he doesn't earn enough to risk losing. Which was sort of confirmed when Showtime gave figures of $2 million for Jake (which will have been his biggest boxing payday), yet Jake was claiming he made $14 million from a fight with similar numbers from a company Jake left for showtime (the only reason you'd ever leave is money) and an undercard of the Mike Tyson fight in which it's doubtful he'd earn even close to half a million for. TL,DR Jake claimed he was earning more money than Mike fuckin' Tyson per view and turns out unsurprisingly he's made less than his brother does selling some scam NFT game, that took days of half arsed effort, not 3 years.

I still think that what hurt their numbers the most, was the fact that a top rank card and ufc card were the same night they tried to hold this event, if they would have done it a week or 2 earlier or later, they could have had 800k-1.2 million buys, but you have two very established organisations holding events the same night, I think not just the fighters lack of drawing power but also the timing of when they tried to hold the event is what failed them

I feel like They are going to split up so if Austin files bankruptcy it wont effect the RUclips and merch and houses and stuff because he'll just give it to his ex wife....
Yo this McBroom dude has been getting exposed a lot by different channels within the past few weeks or so.
Technically they could have to pay social gloves back when court filings are actually decided since they may definitely breached contract agreements with who gets paid first. Hopefully they didn't spend that and kept in escrow.
I think a big part of it was also that Gib and Deji have been in fights before so their managers/talent around them were already prepared and knew what to do. Sadly the other fighters are new to the whole boxing/fighting scene. Hopefully everyone gets paid tho.

I highly doubt LxL will declare bankruptcy, they're a much bigger listed company, they took an L and lost some money but it's probably not going to affect their business much
I could be wrong, but Gib and Deji's cut most likely came from SG not LxL. I think LxL handled the fight's logistics, PPVs and streaming, and SG's responsibilities were mostly talents and marketing
