If your cramps are too painful, maybe try to speak to a general practitioner or gynecologist doctor to make sure it's not something else more serious and unusual like endometriosis.
For real. It can be hard bc doctors (especially male doctors) can tend to dismiss female pain and discomfort, but it’s not normal to be debilitated by your period cramps. A little ache is normal, but you should still be able to do normal things generally speaking (not saying you should be able to go run a marathon, but going to work or school should be doable based on pain level)
If your cramps are too painful, it IS a menstrual disorder such as endometreosis. Women have been brainwashed into thinking suffering is normal when in reality, women's health isn't prioritized in the slightest. Luckily, most women with this issue are able to function perfectly fine with 1-2 ibuprofen a month, but you could also take Ginger tea and it works great too
@@Emma-xm9gb Actually, if you get cramps while running that's endometreosis 😬. Yes a little ache might be normal and easily cured with Ginger tea, but like you said, women's health is heavily dismissed which is why being on birth control is fairly common. My endo worsened over time so now I have to be on BC too
@@pastries8393 Well some cramping is normal, I guess when it comes to the running thing I mean the blood loss would probably inhibit you more from running long distances than pain?
It’s the same for us competitive athletes, possibly worse because of the suits. At least idols can switch up their outfits to hide any potential accidents, but imagine swimmers, gymnasts, figure skaters, etc. I was a runner/triathlete and I’ve literally experienced it myself and seen it happen to others: running with blood streaming down their legs. It’s because the race has gone long enough that the tampon needs to be changed already, but you can’t do it while you’re in the middle of racing… or you weren’t expecting your period but you suddenly got it during the event… athletes can have very incinsistent cycles because of the low body fat and high stress training, it makes the period infrequent… so you just carry on and splash water on yourself from the aid stations… it is common practice to put young gymnasts on birth control pills to avoid getting period during important competitions, but obviously thats very harmful to the body for such young age…
I thought "John" wanted to persuade her to say they were dating because they saw it as a way to "promote" Momoland. The other party was a member of IKON a group from a big compagny. Also, it was the time were public, both in Korea and especially worldwide were being more accepting and even celebrate (Hyuna and Dawn were LOVED by fans, Jennie and Kai too). I wouldn't be surprised if Daisy's compagny thought that way. But you could also be right, I guess we will never know.
@@chlopee2220 I think that way too, a dating scandal is a gamble way to popularity, if the people like the couple somehow, it can be very helpful in terms of popularity, but if not then your career might be done for.
shes not, I believe she works as a translator of sorts now (dont take my exact word for it, this is only what i have picked up from her posts! there isnt much info about her current life other than she is no longer in the idol scene)
Periods are affected by exercise and diet. So ironically, it could be all the exercise you get as an idol that makes the period more manageable. And maybe also at that time you ate more veggies and fruite to stay slim? Just guessing that one...
That's so paternalistic to say this... she probably was underweight as an idol making her period lighter and less than usual ?? She could have a serious issue and you think its simply linked to the lifestyle... thats stupid
@ChloeBx You are entitled to think whatever you want, but my intention was not that... I literally wrote COULD, meaning it is a possibility. I never said it is just simply lifestyle, you are the one that wrote it. Obviously, it can be other things and the best thing is to seek medical guidance. I'm very glad that I saw comments on other conditions like endometriosis and other mentrual disorders but did not see anyone commenting on lifestyle, but it is a fact that lifestyle affects hormones and periods. Lifestyle is something that you can start trying on your own, it is usually cheapear and better than getting medically gaslighted or if you don't have the means to get medications. And in many cases, lifestyle also helps mentrual disorders and helps regulate hormones so it something to keep in mind. I'm just sharing from personal experience, in case it helps other women out there, because changing my lifestyle and taking care of my health was life changing for me. I also used to have crippling pain, faint, throw up and be non functional, especially the first day of my period. My mom made me go visit a doctor at 15yo, against my will because she never had a period that painful and she knew it was not normal, but we ended up getting medically gaslighted... I had to miss so many important dates, exams, final exams, failed entire courses, job opportunities... but I never said it was because of my period because according to that doctor, all women had to go through the same thing and I had to be making it up or exaggerating for attention... I was completely ashamed that I couldn't keep going like other women and feared not being believed. I took so many otc drugs to manage it, even tho nothing was enough to ease the pain, that later my stomach and esophagus got fucked up and the cells in my stomach lining were starting to mutate to cancer... and that's when I knew I had to do something different. I started taking more care of my health, the mestrual pain slowly got better and the time I had 0 mentrual pain was when I was the most active and my leanest (still at a healthy and not even close to being underweight). Again, in case it is not clear, I'm not saying this will be everyone's case but I do think lifestyle is worth a chance. Of course I don't know and don't pretend to know what other medical issues she had, but in this same video she also mentions that she never knew someone who lost their period, and also mentioned that her periods were very regular... she also said the pain came back after she stopped so I thought it COULD be lifestyle related.
@@ChloeBx it’s really not paternalistic, even as a regular folk from having a cyst I didn’t know existed back then, until now with PMDD and a retroverted uterus. My periods are problematic, I get migraines, I vomit, I have diarrhea, I get cramps and back ache at a level 7-9 but exercise and moving around still helps with cramping. Heck I would be thankful if I had my period during busy times as it makes it less painful. It’s simple science, if you’re more active during your period it reduces muscle tension so you’re less likely to cramp, it also releases endorphins which are natural pain relievers. Also yes, your lifestyle affects your condition whether you have a genetic condition or not it is a fact. Heck and I’m saying this as someone with multiple chronic illnesses we’re 10x more susceptible to pain if we’re not strict about following a healthier lifestyle.
Hey, med student here :) If you're feeling unsure or worried, it's definitely worth visiting a general practitioner or a gynecologist. Even if your mom might not fully understand, remember-it's your body, and you know it best. If you feel like something isn't right or if you're just unsure, getting checked out can help you feel more confident and at ease. Taking care of your body also means paying attention to things like sleep, nutrition, and your emotional state-these can all impact your cycle. And remember, you can always bring someone along for support if you feel more comfortable with that. Ultimately, taking care of yourself is the most important thing. Trust your instincts and don’t hesitate to seek help. You deserve to feel good and know that you're doing everything to take care of yourself. You've got this, and I'm rooting for you! 😊
I'm not underweight but I don't feel any period pain too(only mild back pain and body pains, it's not really severe) , and recently my period is not regular as well. But my aunt had similar situation as me and she is well and thriving. Since you are underweight I suggest you visit the gynac , wish you luck and health
I find it funny and a little sexist when people ask female idols how they work with periods. Like it's pretty crazy to ask a woman that question nowadays when many women have a job they attend to regularly, and NO ONE's calling in sick every month 😂. I don't think it's a secret that ibuprofen exists (I know women that take 1-2 a month) but also, I wouldn't assume another woman has a menstrual disorder just because I do. Menstrual disorders are NOT normal and if you struggle with cramps, you likely have a disorder such as Endometreosis. I used to function perfectly fine with 2 ibuprofen a month or just Ginger tea but my condition worsened so now I'm on birth control
I'm honestly not sure why'd be sexist as it's a genuine question. Idols works with their body, and there's A LOT of idols out there, so yeah, some of them will have serious cramps or a lot of flux, so it's absolutely normal wonder how they deal with it while wearing certain clothes or dancing for HOURs. Everyone works while in their period, but not everyone is surrounded by cameras all the time and people watching your every move.
honestly i feel like the vid where she says that alot of mcs actually date each-other is fake… like how could she also show her face in the vid while being safe, also kinda causes unnecessary drama 😭😭
Correct me if I'm wrong but Daisy is not the one who said that mcs date each other. I watched that vid and it was a tiktoker who said it and that tiktoker is not even an ex idol. That person is just a self-claimed industry "insider" with no proof of her work experience
She has been pretty before but idk she looks super pretty in her recent videos like these ones..even while she is just doing make up 😍
Probably because her new look suits her more
