I have a large oak table. My question would be. If you do sections at a time. Will you see where you continue with the next section or will it blend? I want to deepen the oak. It has gotten very yellow/orange. want to make it deeper and richer.

I have light oak cabinets with a warmish tone in my kitchen. What kind of glaze would I have to apply to give them a grey diftwood looking finish with the grain still visible?

3 years later: you’d want to whitewash them. Look up “whitewash stain” or “pickling stain”

Did you use a sealant after the first wood stain then apply another wood stain on top of the sealant? Wouldn't the 2nd wood stain just peel off? We are sanding some wood down and would like to apply this technique but still a little unsure...thanks

As an expert you should know that glazing is a material, a vehical that will carry any color that is compatable with it. Its not a stain, period. Very disapointed, I thought I was going to learn something useful about glazing too..
