I'm always curious when people say they don't like green peppers. I love the flavor of green peppers unfortunately they do not agree with me. I end up tasting them for the next 24 hours. It's strange because nothing else does that to me, I've never had any gastric issues. I could actually count how many times I've had heartburn in my 52 years, but green peppers totally different story. I think it's the skin because I can roast and peel them and don't seem to have an issue but that is a process I rarely have the patience for.
