Thanks for the tour of Burley. My mother was born there. In fact, my family (the Coopers and the Kidds) dates back to about 1909 in Burley. First time I’d ever actually seen it for myself though, so thank you 😊
My Grandma owns one of those Riverside properties!! You guys just vlogged my childhood stomping grounds!! Soo many fond memories of good ole Burley Idaho!! I live in Houston, TX which is quite a stark contrast in living needless to say ..😕 Great video thank you for sharing!👍
Lived In heyburn my whole life but it's so close to burley that I pretty much grew up there to going there almost every day, cool small town, not too much goes on wich is kind of a good thing, maybe once every 10 years will something crazy happen. A nice town with cool people, it's growing a lot recently ever since covid, Burley is projected to grow into a big city by 2050, within the last 3 years more than 600 people have moved into Cassia County alone wich is a huuuge increase from what we usually get, in 2010 our population was 10,345, in 2020 it's now 11,704 with the majority of the numbers coming within the last 3 years, crazy seeing this place grow the way it is considering how small it's been forever, it's still small compared to the rest of the states, but if you lived here it's crazy to see the growth
Just after you passed overland ave you see a truck from my place of business, a Spud hauler. Then you take a left and see the fire department. Earlier while on hwy 81 on the river you passed my grandpa's old home, great grandmother's house, uncle Rex's house, uncle Dennis's house and my hs friends house. Just before you hit the grade by the golf course the feild to the north my buddy Tristan rolled his new truck in 6 times. Walked away from it. Been here my whole life. Wouldn't dream of a big city life.
@@coronnation8854 Twin falls is a great area to go shopping & sight seeing ex. The Shoshone falls are beautiful! However Twin is nothing compared to Burley's hometown atmosphere. I was raised in Burley & absolutely loved being able to ride my bike down the street & meet up with all my friends & just be adventurous! I miss those days so much! My mom & all my aunts uncles grandma & grandpa still live there. We try and visit a couple years!
@@coronnation8854 my opnion I grew up in burley idaho but twin is more nicer bc u got so much stuff all over there and the “Mall” and everything else but I grew up to “Burley Idaho” so it’ll always be my hometown no matter what
Well, I’ve got to say, I think it’s pretty surprising how much heyburn and burley are growing together! They got a Panda Express, Java express, dominos (returned finally), gnc, Fairfield inn, rue 21, Ross, anytime fitness, Taco Bell, and a few more. Also tons of factory changes. Nu cold out by McCain’s is or maybe was the biggest freezer facility in the world, and everything is just getting bigger!
Thank u for the video I grew up there in the 80s

The surrounding area is all farm ground. Outside the city limits are farm families who consider Burley their city - Around 24,000 people

The asylum sports bar at one time a hundred years ago was actually a mental asylum

Ya everyone should move there and experience that place once in their lives
Es una miseria lo que pagan ahí
I live in Burley
It's prettier in the summer
Good video view of the town of Burley, it's sort of similar to Paso Robles California. I'm looking to move scouting those areas thanks for the video
You are welcome, we love going to places other people or students might be interested in. Thanks for watching!
I have relatives in Burley, the only reason I watched.
I grew up in Oakley Idaho 20 miles south of Burley and I lived in Burley when I got older and got married
By the way dont know if you noticed but that helicopter at the airport used to be on a stand off the ground until we had a wind storm knock it down
That's crazy, I did see the helicopter, so cool!
@@Matrix7Adventures The helicopter, tank and jet are a memorial for all the veterans in the town
Actually my grandma said that a lot of kids wer playing and knocked it down
I was born here in burley I can walk to Smith it's close to where I live
Nice!
God I love living in burley :)
Awesome video, wish the video was longer though :D
If you're ever in Burley again, stop in at Desiree industries. You'll find some real treasures there

I live in burley
I live out by Millner
I live here
saw Burley on Google Maps
In the movie theater there is only one theater room in there
I like how the downtown area is still occupied and used. Most towns abandon these buildings as strip malls spring up around them
on 8:16 the left side is were I live close to
a building was bombed and decided to not rebuild it yet
Well it had a bomb in it
And didn't blow up and I went to John v evens out by the dot factory
